pocketkangaroo 04-28-2006 02:05 PM

Seems like a bad ass computer but too small. I hate those little monitors, just crap on my eyes.

Sosa 04-28-2006 02:19 PM

for that much money I would just goto powernotebook and get a badass one.

Manowar 04-28-2006 02:20 PM

owned by hotlinking!

GregA 04-28-2006 02:59 PM

I have a dell inspiron and i love it.

On a side note anyone working off a laptop exclusively for a long time notice probs from using it so much (probs w/ the laptop not your personal issues :P)

Cyrano 04-28-2006 03:03 PM

Crap, over-priced too. Purchase a Dell, Toshiba, or Sony.

kektex 04-28-2006 03:27 PM

I`ve been dreaming with the Apple Mac Book Pro. The thing is just gorgeous and now you can double boot in to windows for those programs that you cannot find for the mac.
<homer> dual core mac ...hmmm *drools*</homer>

Try a Sony. Asus is great for components (particularly, main/motherboards) but I don't about a whole laptop. I just got a Sony VAIO and it's awesome. It's all about the add-on value. IMHO.

E Guru 04-28-2006 03:39 PM

that is one tiny screen

17" for a notebook is pure madness. 15" is the max I would go for tho I prefer my 12":thumbsup

strobi 04-28-2006 03:50 PM

Get a macbook pro.

woj 04-28-2006 03:51 PM

nice, but the screen is a little small in my opinion... :thumbsup

chupachups 04-28-2006 04:21 PM

Spunky 04-28-2006 10:21 PM

SomeCreep 04-28-2006 10:42 PM

Lol, link hottennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Fucksakes 04-28-2006 10:49 PM

getting a mac myself shortly.

p.s Ive been working from a laptop for 5 years and I am doing just fine. I can't stand desktop computers, not that they are bad, I just need to move around all day and work follows me.

pornguy 04-28-2006 10:51 PM

Sounds like a nice one. Lets see how it works out.

xclusive 04-28-2006 11:52 PM

seems like an ok system

cspdinc 04-29-2006 12:26 AM

No the Toshiba with 17" is the way to fly. I had one and plan on getting another updated version.

quantum-x 04-29-2006 01:26 AM

Nice choice.
Shows you've done your homework.

#1 - I have this laptop, and I spent 1.5 months coming to the decision to buy this specific model.

a) Those who say that the screen is too small, missed the part about it beign widescreen. The screen is just as wide as a 14.1" screen. It's got a natural 16:9 ratio.

b) The cost for what you get is fantastic. For this type of lightness and thinness in Toshiba, Dell or any other brand (including the power book) You're paying much more than whasy you'er pasying here.

c) It has a n inbuilt wireless mouse, in built web cam, in built CF card reader, in built wireless and in built blue tooth. Never seen other laptops pack so much + the battery life into a device so compact and light.

I have dragged mine wordlwide in the back of my backpack, and it has LIVED.

Fuck he naysayers, anyone who has not used this model dose not know what they are talking about.

quantum-x 04-29-2006 01:27 AM

Incidently, that price you're paying is way too much, however. I paid less than that in Australian dollars for a similar package. And for a nice black one, too ;)

WWC-Pajio 04-29-2006 02:12 AM

...nice! I prefer black color.. :smokin

CaptainWolfy 04-29-2006 02:53 AM

hi there bump for laptop:)

Marshal 04-29-2006 03:38 AM

great stuff... but i would prefer a bit widder screen... :winkwink:

Mike_AWP 04-29-2006 07:06 AM

nice... i like it..

candyflip 04-29-2006 07:07 AM

For that price I'd get one of the new MacBookPros and boot OSX and WinXP.
