To view these photos in 3D stereo effect, cross your eyes like you'd normally do for those abstract 3D popup images.

It helps to lean in, and slowly move your head back to get the right focus.

put a piece of cardboard between your eyes and then get as close to your screen as possible while still maintaining focus.

wow... it was really hard to get the two images that far across to line up properly... but once I got it.. well, you're right, it's quite amazing.
