Asshole of the year: Michael Schumacher

Bah, first he passed, and later on he pussed Barichello on the nr1 podium BAH ARGH what an asshole.

Andre

chodadog 05-12-2002 06:53 AM

He's just... good. And he's actually not arrogant. I reckon he's a deserved champion.

justsexxx 05-12-2002 06:58 AM

Ofcourse he is good. But not pass Barichello and then say Barichello has won. What a loser

Andre

Milton 05-12-2002 07:13 AM

bullshit tread

mika 05-12-2002 07:17 AM

pretty bad for formula 1 as a sport. no one wants to watch shit like that happen.

but I dont think it was Schumacher's decision, though

chodadog 05-12-2002 07:39 AM

Bah... Schumacher just passed Barichello on the line. You think they would have learned their lesson from the other season when Schumacher broke his leg. Irvine would have won if not for team orders early in the season. Barichello deserved that.. and it would have been his second career win.. he's been in f1 for 10 years for fuck's sake.. That is so fucking gay.

chodadog 05-12-2002 07:39 AM

And yes, i just watched it. lol. so i'm a bit behind you guys i think

SirTreX 05-12-2002 07:41 AM

Michael Schumacher is an asshole :( Barichello deserved it so
much and Shcumacher already won só much.. they're both in
the same team, why couldn't he just finish 2nd.

Sjayne 05-12-2002 07:45 AM

In the after race interview Schumacher said that it wasn['t his decission and that he wasn't happy with it. He also,, if you noticed, put Barichello up on the winning podium.

I am *so* not a fan of Schumacher. Some of us remember him shunting Damon Hill (who btw is looking very yummy since he retired). However, I think this one was a decision of the management - a bad decision.

Did you hear those boos?

chodadog 05-12-2002 07:59 AM

Yah, i just watched the podium presentation and the after interview. Schmuacher actually put Barichello onto the winner's podium and Barichello was awareded the winner's trophy.

And during the press conference, Barichello got the winner's seat too. Schumacher was only too happy to announce his disgust at the situation. So, anyone saying that he's an asshole, is an idiot! The decisions is made by management. Kudos to Schumacher for showing who the true winner was. Barichello even said, he didn't mind, because he had the experience of winning that race, and that's what matters to him.

X37375787 05-12-2002 08:04 AM

If I was getting boo'ed by ten thousands of fans cuz I screwed the real winner over, I'd do the best I can to save my face.

Are you an idiot? HE didn't screw anybody over. Management screwed Barichello over.

hatebreed 05-12-2002 08:07 AM

Schumacher is a total idiot. Look at his life. Moved to switzerland to save taxes, lived in Monte Carlo before.

Fucking fraud if you ask me. He should be expelled from Germany and have his passport withdrawn!

Brian911 05-12-2002 08:10 AM

pretty weak.. but not his fault

SirTreX 05-12-2002 08:10 AM

Yup michael is an idiot.. he always has been an arrogant dickhead.

just my opinion :)

You call him an idiot for making even MORE money? lol
And did you ever consider, Monte Carlo and Switzerland are just a tad more glamerous than germany. Nearly all the big name driver's live in countries other than their own.

Calm the fuck down.

I'll rephrase it for you: Since he was ORDERED to screw Rubens over, he did it. Nevertheless he felt like ass being booed by thousands and that's why he tried to save his fucking face with this glorious gesture. Schumacher can suck my cock. He's a fucking bastard, I've never forgiven him crashing into Damon Hill a couple of years ago, saving his World Championship.

He has definetley matured as a driver since then. If you can't see that, then you're a little too attatched to Damon Hill. How many goddamn years ago was that! Get over it.

Gee, I could give less a shit about Damon Hill. I've always been against Schumacher, just because I don't like his arrogant way and his deformed chin. But talking to you about him is a waste of time since he's obviously yer dawg.

The ONLY thing that I like about him is that he moved with his family away from fucking Germany. People in GER got pretty damn pissed a few years ago when he publicly announced that he doesn't think that Germany was a good environment for his child/ren to grow up in. :1orglaugh

chodadog 05-12-2002 08:22 AM

Actually, my favourite driver is Eddie Irvine. The man is fucking hilarious :thumbsup

But, how can you not respect Schumacher. Like i said, he's matured as a driver, both on and off the track. Arrogant? A few years ago perhaps, he's very level headed these days.

If he wins this championship, he can quite easily be compared to Fangio. And i don't doubt for a minute that he'll win at least one more after this.

DTK 05-12-2002 08:23 AM

I don't really think he'd pull that crap any more either. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a real MS fan but I agree he has matured.

So now what happens if Barrichello starts keeping pace or outpacing MS on a consistent basis????

I'd be extremely dissapointed if the team decisions kept coming into play. It's just not fun to watch when that shit happens. But, saying that, once the championship is secured (1 or 2 more victories for Schumacher would do it i think), you can expect to see some awesome racing. :thumbsup

X37375787 05-12-2002 08:26 AM

If Rubens took over the pole in the Scuderia ~ oh that'd be it !!! Finally the Brasilians would have another idol.

Too bad Senna died in ... was it 1995 ? I remember how damn sad I was when I heard the news on the radio about his death. I saw the crash in Imola, but then couldn't believe my ears... :(

DTK 05-12-2002 08:27 AM

1994, actually:(

He is amazingly okay. Eddie Jordan said he was worried because at one point it looked like they were doing heart work on him but it turns out they weren't.

Did you know that F1 invited all the racer's mother's there to watch? So his mother was there watching that. Very lucky man.

That's just it. If they keep calling team orders, they're just going to look like a total joke. Something tells me Bernie would intervene if it got to that point.

I was really upset when Senna died. I'm such a pansy.. I was living in Ireland at the time when the crash happened. It was weird, my family and some friends were watching.. Everybody was quiet for the rest of the race.. it was weird.

And yeah, the guy that was in the huge crash is ok. Gone to hospital for checkups, but apparently no injuries other than a bruised leg. Fucking miracle if you ask me!

It's still amazing he was not injured. Did you see the crash? People do still get injured you know, despite the safety measures.

chodadog 05-12-2002 08:48 AM

I'm not sure how well an indy car body is built to an F1 car, but remember the crash Alex Zanardi had? Had both his legs severed off as his car was split in half by an uncoming car. :disgust

X37375787 05-12-2002 08:52 AM

Oh I remember Zanardi's crash. Very ugly :(

But then again I remember Schumi crashing straight into a pile of tires a couple of years ago, with about 250 kph ~ and he just broke his feet....

chodadog 05-12-2002 08:55 AM

Yes, Zanardi's crash was the most brutal thing i've ever seen in racing. I mean, Senna's crash was very.. big.. But the way Zanardi's car just sat there in two pieces.. sent shivers down my spine, i'll tell ya.

X37375787 05-12-2002 08:57 AM

You don't happen to have some video linkage available, do you ?

pr0view 05-12-2002 09:07 AM

schumacher is a fucking genius of the wheel and those people are always arrogant. goes with the territory, i guess.

I saw one when the story first broke, but i can't find one now. Some masochist might have some on a file sharing program like Kazaa though.

DTK 05-12-2002 09:46 AM

Been taping all the races since '92. Including that one:(
