Smartthumbs And Dreamhost
Has anyone any experience installing Smartthumbs on a Dreamhost shared server.
Had some problems installing Comus free version (problem looking like it was host related) and now looking at Smartthumbs. I'm going to invest in TGP software tomorrow and as smartthumbs does not have a trial, want to make sure its going to work on my shared hosting plan. Thanks In Advance. |
If it doesn't, it does on my virtual account starting at 6.00/month.
(CPanel/Fantastico/RvSkin ) Would give you a trial period for install and tweaking. |
no problems running comus on dreamhost here.
|
Jo are you on a virtual server?

Make sure that dreamhost has zend installed , and on the cli too.

try to ask first on their techsupports , before purchasing.... i think you can install comus free in dreamhost :thumbsup :thumbsup |
mostly the problem with dreamhost is its mysql. most scripts are having a hard time recognizing it...you have to config something to its phpmyadmin.
|
contact dreamhost and tell them what your doing, comus has been around for a while and most of the better hosts already know what's involved!
