Smartthumbs And Dreamhost

Has anyone any experience installing Smartthumbs on a Dreamhost shared server.

Had some problems installing Comus free version (problem looking like it was host related) and now looking at Smartthumbs.

I'm going to invest in TGP software tomorrow and as smartthumbs does not have a trial, want to make sure its going to work on my shared hosting plan.

Thanks In Advance.

If it doesn't, it does on my virtual account starting at 6.00/month.
(CPanel/Fantastico/RvSkin )
Would give you a trial period for install and tweaking.

mostly the problem with dreamhost is its mysql. most scripts are having a hard time recognizing it...you have to config something to its phpmyadmin.

contact dreamhost and tell them what your doing, comus has been around for a while and most of the better hosts already know what's involved!

that's great to hear. I tried to install the free version on my dreamhost virtual account and ran into a problem at the time. But very useful info to know, now lol. Gonna take another crack at getting it installed this week
