I am going fishing this week end with this guy.... This is great I am going to catch

some lunkers and drink some beer and have some fun in my home town. I got

Watch where you grab, Snook have razor sharp gill plates that will dam near cut your finger off. Very tough on the leader line also.


Good eating, very white firm meat. Tricky bastards. One of the few fish that will sometimes swim right at you after you hook them and try to cut the line on a rock.

40 lb snook are fun, you're going to have a blast!

This is a small one, maybe 10-12 lb. and about as big as one your allowed to keep. Gotta be between 26" - 34" to keep, 1 per day here per person.

I chased Manta Rays out in the ocean about 1/2 mile out all last weekend looking for Cobia. The rays are migrating North this time of year.

The Cobia swim on top and under them and when they see your jig they will dart out grab it and dart back on top of the ray, set the hook and hold on.

Has to be sunny and not too choppy so you can see those big bastards under the water. They are like 18-20 feet from wing tip to wing tip. Late in the day they jump out of the water, it's an incredible sight.

I just loved going out fishing while on vacation !!!

I think that killing those poor creatures is sort of mean. I mean they are just swimming around.. having fun and then bam it is all over . Just so some drunk guy can get some kicks.. Humans are very silly

damn, I miss fishing, all my friends moved overseas, we used to go fishing like 8-10 people, BBQ, drink beer and have fun

nobody is killing them, all fish are released unless you are going to eat them.
