What the hell is Scientology?
 

Can someone please explain this wacky seudo-religion to me because I have no idea what its about....and from what limited knowledge I do have of Scientology, it seems to be a cult of some sort.

The last we heard they still have no legally ordained minister so you can't get married or be buried there. lol And each week a different member gives the sermon. :warning To each their own I guess.

Scientology is not for you.

I have read every book on Scientology and Dianetics put out by the Church Of Scientology.

It is not a religion or a scam as others put it, there are no "owners" or ministers, its philosophy, one that obviously couldnt be applied by some.

Famous Scientologists, : Michael Jackson, Chic Corea, John Travolta... read more instead of bouncing terms and ideas of what something may be, its one of the greatest errors of man.

The Process was started by Grimston who is famous for such things as Charles Manson saying he was a prcticing Processean while in jail once, we was met by an affiliate of both the Processean Church and A Scientology "Clear" to denounce his statements.

Nonetheless Hubbard wanted more of a religious Philosophy like Grimston had, which he was a jesus freak by heart hence the love of Christ along side the worship of the devil or at least the acceptance of him as part of the wheel, for God to exist and exact out punishment, kinda like addressed in "Dogma" Christ or whatever Lord you want it to be, must cast "Judgement" but then one must execute that punishment, so accepting Christ as the Judge, but Lucifer must punics, a balance if that makes sense, hence the "4p" for Process... the symbol i have tatted on my forearm resembles an Iron Cross except its 4 ps interlocking and spinning.

What the fuck is the Process? eh its hard to explain, when in the 60's it was a hippy type religion, now its a digital group that hides in the background yet still applying our philosophy to an organized collective goals... I know it all sounds weird, thats why the saying is "The Process Is You" its what it is to you...

The relation between the process and Dianetics and Scientology is a deep rooted cross between the 2 and the people who wrote their original doctrines... tis not a religion, tis not a scam, it is the center of the information war, its a guiltless state of self awareness, its helping others and individual matters to collective goals with no spiritual bounds...

Its hard to explain what the Process is, but Scientology is a lot different but again, Hubbard wanted to create something as powerful, possibly more commercial...

Cult would be a kind definition for it. You have to love a religion founded by a science fiction writer though. and a religion founded in the last 50 years is so much the better.

I especially like their belief in how our universe was created, the "Big Bang" theory taken one step further.

Their idea of creation was that God threw all kinds of bombs, and nuclear devices into a volcano, and the resulting explosion is how our universe was created.

Now you should all send me $20,000 because they usually charge big bucks to provide this info to their members.

I personally do not understand how any thinking person with the ability to reason could involve themselves in such nonsense, but then again that applies to many religions/philosophies.

The Church of the SubGenius is the only one, true religion. All the rest are pinks!

Scientology is a billion dollar worldwide corporation that disguises itself as a religion. They're completely ruthless, you pay them for every session you have where some jackass hooks you up to a lie detector they call an "e-meter" and makes you regurgitate the worst experiences of your life over and over until you've said it so many times it doesn't bother you to say it anymore, at which point you've made "progress". Everything you tell them is written down/recorded and archived, and if you ever leave the church and speak out against them they publish all of it to their membership to show them how fucked up and untrustworthy you are.

Thats the core of their business, but there is much more. they file lawsuits against anyone who says anything negative about them publicly, especially ex members, and keep piling them on forever until they've driven you to financial ruin to set an example for other would be critics. They have slave labor camps where you can live in a dorm and work for them for free in exchange for dianetics training, and they make it incredibly hard to leave once you join one. They have their own psuedo military branch who've pressured judges into illegally obtaining search warrants which they've used to confiscate the posessions of internet critics and the list goes on and on. Several countries refuse to recognize them as a religion, and theyre generally dispised in european countries.

This post is already too long but there is a mile long list of horrible things they do, setup dummy organizations to distribute seemingly innocent pamphlets on manners to kids in elementary schools, which then direct them towards disguised dianetics run foundations, running 5 luxery hotels and other business fronts to suck in celebrities. They invite wealthy guests to their hotels and bug the rooms, to learn more about their personal life so they can attempt to sell them better, as well as listen to how they react to the sales pitch once they've left the room, hire p.i.'s, you name it. Take the techniques of any standard brainwashing cult, fill it full of expert sales people and pump it with an unlimited supply of money and scientology is what you get.


There is a huge movement to warn people about them online, all of the major leaders/organizers such as those from the alt.religion.scientology usenet group have been sued by them nonstop for upwards of 10 years. They strongly discourage and in some cases forbid members from using the internet or watching any of the dozens of exposes that have been on various news shows and magazines. Generally any news outlet that does a story on them is sued the day after it airs.

Ok..... so how many of you fuckers attend church on Sunday, or wear crosses around your neck? I do not belong to any church group nor do I practice any religion. Hehe do your asses burn while you are sitting in that holy place worshipping god?

As I see most religions as eccentric and strange, I find christianity just as odd. Millions of people still talk about jesus and what a great guy he was. People will wear a cross for him, and then not know a fucking thing about other religions and openly put them down.

I wish people in general were more open minded. You would think that after hundreds of years of religious wars that people would realize there is no "right" religion.

People need to believe in themselves. Those who have problems doing this often fall to whatever religion appeals to them most.

If I had to make a choice though, I'd definitely have to go with Satan. hehehe \m/
