You need to know what you're talking about and follow all 3 players, I follow them all. There's not a "more dominant individual/team player" in the NBA than LeBron James. There's no other player that does as much on the court as LeBron...he had a season that can only be compared with 4 others in NBA history...and oh yeah, he's 21. He would have been my pick, then Nash...and it would be a toss up between Kobe/Nowitzki/Brand/Marion.

All Kobe is is a great scorer. To be the MVP you need to be a complete player...he has a long way to go.

Bryant was a dominant, large guard that hit clutch shots. You had to devote attention to him or he shredded you, particularly in the 4th quarter.

Go look at Kobe's numbers in the 4th quarter of that dynasty. Then, look at Shaq's 4th quarter free throw misses.

Bryant also swung to power forward and reaked havoc on the opposition. He can score at will.

The media is finally letting go of the ball hog label, the fans will catch on eventually. Those living in LA really don't label him that anymore.

Kobe will never win an MVP, James will have a collection. He was also build one of the greatest dynastys in NBA history no matter where he plays. LeBron just turned 21 and has already put in 2 season better than any Kobe's put up.

What was Kobe in game one? a solid 7 for 21...1 for 6 in 3's. You're right that's clutch. Watch LeBron's next game, he'll bounce back big time and you know Washington's thinking the same thing.

And having Butler make stupid gestures after the game is going to get him fired up even more. You can mark James down for 35-40 next game.

I'm a huge Suns and Steve Nash fan, but I don't think he should be MVP. It always come back to how you interpret what the MVP means. Just judging on pure talent and skill, Kobe and Lebron definitely should win. I believe the MVP title originally was meant to award the "best" player for that particular year, but after being scrutinized year after year it has come to mean more, "which player made his team better while displaying a high level of skill".

I'm not a big Kobe fan, but what he did this year was incredible and its hard for me to believe the Lakers would have won very many games without him. I think if Cleveland would have finished stronger, Lebron would have been the front runner. Oh well, you could make a case for all of them, just comes down to how you interpret the MVP award.
