What's the deal with blogspot?

Can they just go around and remove adult oriented blogs? How does it work? I mean I work with a ton of adult related blogs and I've never had a problem. Anyone care to educate me! :winkwink:

Happy to hear that babe, but this still doesn't answer my question :winkwink:

They keep deleting blogs with hardcore pics but I still saw lots of blogs with those pics around. They deleted my blogs long ago and I wouldn't risk again.

just stick to softcore... :)

just use thumblogger.com or host the blogger blog on your own server.

i think the offical response is that on the .blogspot.com subdomains you can't have adult related stuff, but if you just use the blogger.com tool as a CMS for your site, and FTP all the files back to your site then you are allowed to have adult related content

hopefully fris pops in this thread, he's the master of blogs

Anyways...I've had a blog there for about 7 months with no problems.

My secret is that I remove myself from their listings and I also remove the Blogger Nav bar from my site...that way I can't be flagged.

From what I have heard this is true. I had some awhile back that got tanked, and will never fuck with it again.:2 cents:

Reason #1 to host your blog on your own server

Someone flagged you. Definitely try publishing to your own server and fixing your template/settings.

Pornwolf 04-30-2006 04:18 AM

Host your blog on your site, your domain, your rules. There's no telling when any mainstream blog site will want to "clean" up their blogs. Do it yourself or risk that chance.

move Your adult blogs to xlogz.com :) see sig :)

I've never understood why anyone wouldn't do that in the first place. There may be some advantage to using places like blogspot, but I've never been able to figure it out.
