OK I am pissed!!
 

I just took my little girl beagle who weighs 26 pounds to the doggie park..
All was good till this lady comes in with her two big german shepards. As soon as she let them off the leash they attacked my little girl, both of them at the same time. Here is my Nelly.

Then I come to find out that her dogs have attacked three other dogs and she isn't suppose to be there. I am PISSED!!:mad: :mad: :mad:
She didn't even ask if she is was ok. All Nelly could do was whine and cry till i could get to her and get the other two off her. Nelly ran straight for the gate and just barked and whined wanting out. I kept her on her leash and led her around so she could see that the other doggies were nice but every time she saw the two german shepards all she would do is bark and she never barks. The lady wouldn't even leave but she sure got an ear full from another lady that had her dog attacked a few days ago by the same dogs. It was sad :mad:

I would be PISSED!! We have only been to our dog park here once and I was appalled. Some people should not have pets. Some people actually think it's "cool" or something to have agressive dogs.

If I were you I'd go again and spray them with mace, well maybe spray the owner rather..

Don't ever take small dogs to an offleash dogpark unless they have separate areas for small and large dogs.

As much fun as it is, its just too risky.

Poor little Nelly . She's such a sweet girl :( It breaks my heart when my babies get hurt.

But what breaks my heart even more is when animals like those german shephards end up with an irresponsible owner who can turn a perfectly sweet and innocent little animal into a raging lunatic of a dog just because they don't care enough to take a little bit of care and responsiblity. If that bitch of an owner keeps up that behavior, she's soon going to find her precious little shephards being put down. Some people just don't deserve the privilege of having animals.

I'm curious though, you said the other dogs attacked Nelly? Two German shepherds attacking a little dog would not be a nice thing to see, what exactly did they do?

I don't blame the dogs at all. That bitch of an owner KNEW her dogs were aggressive and she STILL takes them to that park. She needs a ass kicking for sure, or maybe she is the one that needs obedience classes.

One of them tried grabbing her by the neck but the other came in and knocked it to the side and pushed nelly over and she rolled and as soon as she got up she tried to run away but they bit her on her tail and pounced on her. Luckily we got to her before they got a good bite. No wounds thank god but she was so scared that she sprayed her anal glands and that smells like rotten fish..

I wouldn't be upset with the dogs. It's not their fault, it's the bitches fault and I tell you right now if it was me, that bitch would have two black eyes and a fucked up nose. Someone would have to pull me off her. I hate people who are not responsible with their dogs, especially a German Sheppard, which is my favorite dog. When it comes to my animals I am WAY insane protective. I would have ended up in jail for beating that bitch down. And as I was hitting her I would be explaining how fucked up SHE is. I can't even to begin to express my anger over this. :disgust

As the owner of three large Rottweilers, I pretty much it assume it to be my responisbility to not take them to an off leash park. I can predict the outcome and instead walk them alone without other dogs around.

Some people are just too stupid to have dogs, much less large ones.

I did read it. Makes a lot of sense, but my other beagle LOVES to play with the big dogs so not taking them is probably out of the question but I will probably take some spray just in case.....

You can't blame the dogs. Its the owners responsibility to know if their dogs are aggressive and if so to not let them off leash at anytime.

A dumb fuck in my neighborhood recently went walking with 4 dogs all off leash. 2 of which were pit bulls. Sure enough some old lady was out walking her little poodle at the same time. The pits went for the little dog and the lady. Little dog died at the vets. Lady got nailed pretty bad also.

So because of one dumb fucker that wasn't being responsible you end up with 3 dead dogs.

Perfect case of a complete idiot. :mad:

I heard about this only a few minutes ago. I was out of town and had our other beagle with me.

Those who know me well know I have no problem letting people know what I think. That woman would have been left in tears had I been there.

We go to this park all the time. Dogs of all sizes roam free without problems. When I heard that this bitch's dogs attacked another dog not long ago, and she still comes back and doesn't bother to ask about Nelly after her dogs attacked again, I was furious. I just hope I see her there again sometime. She'll think twice about coming back.

This is when I am glad I live in the country so we don't have this to deal with, I hate it when people let their big dogs bully those small ones that never bother a soul, it drives me crazy. I have a Boxer and a Great Pyrenees, and if I ever caught one of them bullying anything, I'd have to come unglued. BUT they stay penned up in huge pens and are only out of those if they are on a leash at all times....... We just got a Miniature Pinscher a few weeks ago and if something went at him, I'd have to hurt someone.

I am sorry your baby is so traumatized, but man, do something to stop that bitch before someone gets seriously hurt. Her dogs are the way they are because they were trained that way, so she should be taken down for this shit.

I will add to my post, when I was about 7 yrs old, I was walking to the mail box with a dog that my parents got for me at the dog pound. His name was skipper, really cool little mutt. He walked with me everyday.

I got to my friends house and a german sheppard from across the street, jumped his fence and grabbed my dog by the neck and broke it, then took a
huge bite out of his leg. He was dead when his neck broke. I ran home to tell my Mom, she didn't believe me, grrr! We got in the car she she seen for herself. I didn't walk down that street for 2 yrs. My best friend's Dad barried Skipper and we just barried my best friends dad.

I have no clue what was wrong with that dog, he just ran for it and killed it very quick. Now, I can't really blame the owners, as he was in his fenced in yard, for this reason...I will never trust german sheppard's.
