Looking for Reasonably Priced Hotels in Miami Memorial Day Weekend...
Yo, for those that know about Miami Memorial Day Weekend. Where should I look for hotels? Is there a website? They say the strip is along Collins Ave. I believe. I'll like to be near where the action is gonna be. Ya know, where I can step on the balcony and there's a party...

Collins, Ocean or Washington are all cool for Mem Day.
As much madness as will be going on on the mains strip I suggest you stay below 5th. Hotel St. Augustine & The Mercury are your two best bets. Memorial day has become like a Hip Hop festival. It's the new Freaknik. There's gonna be a ton of hoodrats and gold teeth on Ocean all day so you want to be able to kinda get out of the mix of that when feel like it. Staying at those hotels allows you to do that. The Mercury is an all suite hotel right next to Opium and across from Pearl/Nikki Beach. Both of those are gonna be real hot that weekend so if you can book the Suite at The Mercury so you can pull hoes from in front of the club, which is basically at your front door, and fall right into your room. If you don't do that then good luck with the rest of the beach. Stick to the main streets I mentioned and god bless ya. |
good luck bump for you

lots of hotels may be booked up solid for that weekend already. try the clevelander. washington street will be your best bet. cheaper older hotels but still close and lots of nightlife. people in the "know"stay there insted of those expensive ass deco hotels. |
Great info! :thumbsup
Just called "The Clevelander". They reservations office is closed. Hopefully when they open tomorrow they'll have some rooms available. An actually, I'm looking for a nice hotel that's Reasonly Priced. Don't really gotta be on the strip, but nearby... Never been to Miami, just needed a few names of nearby hotels so I can enquire... Thnx for the info! :pimp |
I just looked at prices for that weekend. Just about everything is 200% or more what they normally charge.
Check out www.Tablethotels.com for the only deals on good hotels I've seen so far. They have The Raleigh for $250 and The Sanctuary for $200 which is about as good a price as it gets on 2 good hotels this late in the game. Move on it quick. Everything else under $400 is gone. |
