I just got back from Punta Cana...other than the resorts that country looked like a dump...I wish I was able to see more of it as I heard Santo Domingo is a beautiful city to visit. :)

I LOVE it...The weather is great every day...I wake up and sleep to the sound and view of the ocean every night...I'm losing weight..I get everything that I can get in the u.s. except taco bell...So I'm very glad that I moved here and I'm not trying to come back.

Most of the country looks like a shithole. It's no different in the Santo Domingo/Boca Chica area..Unless you're in a resort, it's shitty..I'd never live there..It's just too fucked up..In fact, I was ANXIOUS to leave after the second day..Puerto Rico is like Beverly Hills compared to that shit...

But the girls rocked.

I don't want to give the name of it since I'll be going back there but it's a small $40 a night hotel in Boca Chica with a/c, cable, and a small fridge with a bar and restaurant and women waiting outside every night. Plus there's a small whorehouse right around the corner.

That cheese didn't taste like I expected it to. I could only eat one bite of it. I told them that I wanted huevos con queso which is eggs with cheese and they brought me that..I expected yellow cheese melted on the eggs.

what's so odd about white cheese? it's the same as yellow cheese. it can be made out of cow's, sheep and goat milk... and it is much softer then the previous one... :)

Yeah but the cheese was so fresh, it was still wet. It must have been made that morning..I'm not used to cheese that fresh yet. Plus I expected it hot and melted on my eggs, not cold and wet on the side. And I'm telling you, the taste was not what I'm used to. It will take time for me to be able to eat that shit.

They lie about that shit...They want you to believe that there are a bunch of wild niggas toting guns and ready to rape and kill you...I heard the same thing about boca chica...but when I got there I saw WHITE people walking around like it wasn't shit and nobody was fucking with them..And some of them were surferdude types. not hardcore europeans...So I figured if they could do it, I know they wouldn't fuck with me and I NEVER felt threatened.

Now I wouldn't go walking around at night but in the day time it's good if you stay on the main tourist streets...If somebody accosts you, they'd get fucked up by a nearby policia..

That's fucking sweet my parents are dominican, I'm first generation american. I love going down there, and I always have a blast!!! I was there in january for a week and wanted to stay for a year. Back in 96 I bought a house there in santiago it's so relaxing being there, I tell people all the time Dominican Republic is one the best kept secrets of the carribean. The woman are friendly and horny gotta love that!!!!!:thumbsup The food is natural, and good for you!! I feel like I freaking find the fountain of youth everytime I go.I'm glad you had a great time hopefully you will go back.
