No more soy sauce at Jack in the Box!!! WTF!? Just found out last night and I lost sleep because of it.

I can't eat my eggrolls with sweet and sour! I need my soy sauce!

My sister and I would go to a buffet while dieting that had lots of healthy veggie dishes. I use soy sauce on any rice rather than gravy (and on some vegetables instead of salt). One day they quit stocking soy sauce and offered me worchestershire instead:1orglaugh). From then on I took a little bottle of soy sauce with me when we ate there. There's no reason to let something so simple keep a meal from being enjoyable.

If carrying the bottle in (even in your pocket) bothers you, take a couple of packets in. You can find them in restaurant supply stores or sometimes asian markets will sell bundles of them.

I know it sounds pretty strange to eat egg rolls from Jack in the box, but yeah they have 'em. They list it under "snacks and extra's" on their site http://jackinthebox.com/ourfood/index.php?section=7
I swear they are really good too.

That's a good idea about bringing in the soy sauce and no it wouldn't bother me at all. (I always carry some Ready Lube wherever I go anyway :1orglaugh)

It's just not worth it to me to bring the soy sauce because I do not go there all that often anyway so it's not a big loss to me. However, I understand what your talking about completely and if it was a place I went to a lot I'd do it for sure.
I was just a little shocked when I posted about since I had been thinking about them all day and finally had a chance to break away and go get some...they have to much fat in them anyway as you can see from their nutrition chart.

my friends and I used to frequent jack in the box back in college

I used to eat there a lot when I was in HS but the more I thought about it the more I got scared of their mushy beef tacos LOL

Remember when they had some lawsuit about a whole bunch of people getting sick from their food? I think it was back in '92 or '93. It was really big news where I was.

When I was a kid, I would go there on my birthday, ask to the see the manager. They had this "All little boys named Jack get free tacos on their birthday" promo. Only the manager knew about it though. So, I always went straight to the decision-maker. Their egrolls are okay, given no other choice. But, here in SF, I can hit a dozen Chinese or Thai places with a low-dispersion BB-Gun blast from my front door. So, why would I eat egrolls that had been imported from like Hackensack or something? Soy sauce notwithstanding - :)
