    Anybody ever borrow or lend at prosper.com?

    Just came across this site and looks like an interesting idea. Anybody ever use it?

      Holy shit, I was just talking about this today. Here's my theory (on the lending end): It's a gamble. Basically like Vegas but without the free drinks and cigarette smoke. IOW, don't put in more than you can afford to lose.

      I've been reading the Lender's discussion board for a couple of days and it's VEDDDY interesting

        I just joined, BTW. Just going to put a little in and play with it. Whatever funds I get paid back I'm going to leave the principle in, take out the interest and reinvest the principle. Just looks like a fun way to play with $$$ ;)

                This was posted a little while ago. Its on my list of things to play with. As has been suggested elsewhere, dont put in more than what you are willing to lose. Also, make sure you diversify.
