I left my credit card at the bar last night.

Man, it was a blackout-type night and I can't even remember how I got home. I just looked through my wallet and I have 80$ (not sure how I got that because I know that I didn't go to an ATM and it's not on my bank report) and my credit card is missing. I just called the bar and the lady said that they have it locked up in the Manager's office. She laughed and said that I'd be amazed at how often that happens.

Nights like those are one of the reasons I hate going out and getting shit faced. And boy was I ever shit faced last night. My buddies even went to the valet with my ticket and told them to refuse me the car if I tried to pick it up. :(

Drinking is bad, mkay.

I don't go out with a lot of money anymore, lost it too often . Twice in the last 6 months I've lost a sum over $1000 on me ... stupid shit.

Well once I wasn't drunk, just a bad luck

Spunky 04-24-2006 04:21 PM

I always just carry cash only, just in case of those types of things

dakota1358 04-24-2006 04:22 PM

I only pay cash for drinks and never run a tab.still wind up with a huge bill but be twice as bad if I had a tab

Sosa 04-24-2006 04:54 PM

take a set amount of cash and that is it.

DutchTeenCash 04-24-2006 04:55 PM

yeah take cash I take my cards out when I go clubbin too much risk

BVF 04-24-2006 05:00 PM

take just one debit card and no cash..I was a cash fan until a month ago..You can't beat the convenience. Plus you never will have change for beggars because you can honestly tell them that you have no spare change on you.

fuzebox 04-24-2006 05:03 PM

I never take debit cards out because most I tend to end up at the casino after clubbing...

I'm still waiting for one to say "that's okay, I take debit!" and then pull out a debit card machine. : )

I've left my card at the bar ... A lot of people do it. I noticed that some bars are starting to tack on a fee for unclosed tabs.

reynold 04-25-2006 01:17 AM

I seldom bring my credit cards. I only carry cash and its not that much. It keeps me from over spending.

im sure they arent allowed to do that, especially since you didnt sign for anything and if you wanted to charge back they would be fucked. ive left my credit card at the bar a bunch of times and never got any weird fees.

Im still pissed about it and feel violated.
