I haven't skated in about 10-15 years ... one of the guys here was skating out back and i helped him make a rail slide out of some junk we found by the irrigation guys shop ... I gave it a shot and they filmed it thinking I would bust my ass and they could post it here ... It's not pretty but i pulled it off ...:thumbsup

I may not be Fat ... but I'm 5'9 and about 210 .. not the usual skate type ...lol I need to get down to about 185-190 to be happy. That was my 2nd try .. the first to had a wheel grab and the board stopped but i just ran it off .. i didn't fall ..:thumbsup It was fun and I'll be skating some more.

I used to surf a lot also ..still have a board in the garage ..maybe I'll do a bit of that this year also ..but the waves in NY or not easy to come by ..:disgust

I give you mad props Mike. I just picked up skateboarding in the past two years. I know its more of a kids sport but I really enjoy it. Mind you I suck, but I love the rush.

How long did you skateboard for?

it jumped for me also ..it was filmed on my T7 camera .. just reply it ans it runs smooth .. not a hard move but i am 31 and haven't touched a board in close to 15 years

I skated from about 12 to 16 .. when i stopped i was a good street skater and had a nice 6 foot half-pipe in my yard ...it was great for lip tricks and grinds ..fun stuff .. I bought a boat at 16 (my day did) and i started water skiing ... then surfing for about 2 years ...maybe we can find a few boards in vegas and have some fun

Really where did you grow up? Thats cool I wish I skateboarded as a kid, I got stuck going to my dad's karate school.:mad:

I grew up in NY ..so skating was great .. lots of places to street skate ..I skated every day in the summer and as much as possible in the winter. the surfing was hard at first but being that i could skate and water ski I picked it up pretty fast. the surfing in NY is not that great .. there are only a few good places on the south shore that have good breaks. I was at the beach everyday in the summer and fall ... I loved it ..even if the waves were shit I'd sit out in the water and just think .. I miss that a lot ...it really gets in your blood.

Where's the kickflip?

:1orglaugh NO shit ... I can still Ollie and i can Ollie kick flip but don't have the landing anymore ..but i bet i could get that back down in an afternoon ..once you have the flip it's just timing
