I do not have hard or soft water.

Where I used to live though we had one of those problems. Can not remember which it was, just felt like you never could wash the damn soap all the way off.

My water is more like being sprayed with mineral sand it's so hard! But I can't stand a wimpy shower..

yeah i thought it would mess up the pressure but it fires out good. the shower head has a massager and different settings.

Bought for my house in OC and use a little filter for me shower from Home Depot. Costs $20 but the filter is small compared to this one.
