I would. It should be common sense for any expecting mother, and anyone who smokes while knocked up is a selfish self-serving bitch as far as i'm concerned.

Actually it's bad for a smoker to quit smoking while she's pregnant. So in a sense, she made a good choice for the sake of her baby.

Yes I'm serious. All the smokers I've known have been adviced by their doctor to do so. It's best to stop smoking before you get pregnant or after your pregnancy but not during.....

more than likely. heres a story for you. years back, i was djing at this club in san diego that will remain nameless for obvious reasons. britney came in with her entourage into the vip area, underage at the time, i believe 19 that year. i personally know the person that hooked her up with party favors and the managers that gave her crazy amounts of liquor. this was when she still had her little white bread wholesome girl, i'm a virgin image going. not really relevant, but i guess i'm basically saying is celebs are jsut like anyone else with the same vice problems and urges to get fucked up. lol.

My sister and I were still at school when she fell pregnant, she was very young to be a mom but anyhoo.

I caught her smoking with her mates behind the bike sheds ( thats where the smokies hung out). I didnt say anything to her and then the fire alarm went of.

We were all outside and I saw her, surrounded my friends and teachers. I went up to her and starting shouting at the top of my voice about her smoking. Her face went red! I was saying she was going to kill her baby if she kept on going like that and she would have no one to blame excelt herself when she lost her little baby girl...

Safe to say she stopped but Claire(my neice) has bad asthma, she is only 1 and a wee bit but shes on two inhalers...She also has stomach and growth problems...I wonder why! Amber doesnt seem to think it was her smoking and drinking but it was...

How do you know that smoking has caused the asthma? Have doctors stipulated this or are you just assuming?

The doctors asked if she smoked when she was pregnant..She lied...They wouldnt have asked if it wasnt relevant.

Im not saying it was JUST the smoking but it certainly played a part. I dont disagree with people smoking, but smoking when pregnant is a HUGE hate of mine. As the ad says, you are breathing for two...

Yes I know there are worse things but I dont see how a woman cant "hold of" smoking for a tiny nine months while she is carrying her baby. Its just my two cents :)

A little over a week ago I was in a bar. A couple came in. The woman was pregnant. She sat down and ordered a shot. I thought maybe it was for a friend but kept watching as she took it herself. From that point on I stared at her with a dirty look. She left after that one shot and sounded like they were going to another bar. Pure white trash in my opinion. ANYONE who would do that to their unborn baby.

Absolute nonsense, all your friends lied to you to justify their smoking. Smoking harms your baby. When you smoke, your baby gets less oxygen. Lack of oxygen can cause your baby to grow more slowly and gain less weight in the womb. Smoking during pregnancy has also been linked to preterm labor and other pregnancy complications.

Yup smoking also increases the chances of problems later on in life- asthma, growth problems, skin troubles such as ezceme, dermatitis etc..

Its not a good thing to do. I mean look at it this way...If your mom was a non smoker, would you sit there and blow smoke into her face, up her nose and in her mouth right up until you finished your fag?! No you wouldnt, but when a pregnant woman smokes thats what she does and is endangering her baby.
