NBA MVP - After Game 1 of Playoffs ... Who Stepped Up?

Lebron James
32 pts, 11 reb, 11 ast, 44% FG% - WON game 1

Steve Nash
20 pts, 2 reb, 10 ast, 41% FG% - WON game 1

Kobe Bryant
22 pts, 6 reb, 5 ast, 33% FG% - LOST game 1

To all you Kobe Lovers .... MVP's bring their A game. Kobe = over rated. Lebron for President :winkwink:

Yeah .. to bad the Bulls didn't pull it off. I'm no Heat fan ... Bulls all the way.

Have to give Game 1 MVP to Ben Gordon.

35 pts, 52% shooting, 5/10 threes, 6/7 freethrows.

He won't have the rebounds that Lebron had because that's not his role, or the assists either since he doesn't draw the double like Lebron. He certainly had a great game for the Cavs though.

Another Bull, SF Andres Nocioni played better than Nash and Bryant too.

Miami has got to be worried. Even if they do beat the Bulls they are going to be broken down going into round 2 unless they can run up huge leads going into the 4th and rest their starters.

Good post .. the only thing I have a problem with is that Ben Gordan lost game 1 and Lebron won. When its all said and done, its about the wins. I hope the Bulls beat the Heat ... I really do.

I know .. I just base it on the whole year. Just wanted to compare the MVP candidates after game 1.
