Nash 1 Bryant 0

The reigning MVP brings his game.

The wannabe leaves it at home.

:thumbsup :thumbsup

Suns beat Lakers !!! So happy. Kobe shoots 33% from the field. He's SO good.

chaze 04-23-2006 03:10 PM

Thanks to Parker suckin and bad calls, Hate Parker

harvey 04-23-2006 03:13 PM

everybody talks about Nash, but the best player this game was Tim Thomas , 22, 15, 2 steals 1 block :thumbsup

Using bad calls is a pretty cheap excuse. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact the Lakers shot only 23% from 3 point range or that Tim Thomas had a huge game or that the Lakers only shot 77% from the free throw line.

Maybe if Kobe played like the MVP so many say he is, they might have won. His dumb ass only shot 33%.

chaze 04-23-2006 03:30 PM

They changed the game plan, he was supposed let everyone else play and be there back up. It's hard to get in rhythm, but when he did he was on.

There was a welt on his head, how the hell could they miss that foul. He would of made the free throws. Then hit the three and tied the game.

Then it was anyone's game or over time.

Bad calls nearly ruin basketball, every ref is probably paid off or bias.

It was not an impressive victory at all for the suns, I would be worried if I were the suns, you almost lose at home against the 7th seed, Please....:2 cents:

Dude, he shot 33% .. what the hell makes you think he would have for sure stepped back after hitting 2 free throws and hit a 3. He's not Robert Horry.

Refs missed a couple easy calls the other way too. You are crazy and living in a dream world.

That no call changed the whole game buddy

The Captain 04-23-2006 03:37 PM

that no call changed the game, but I must say I usually like the refs to just let them play and not call all these ticky tack fouls all in all it was a good game

Because he hit the two free throws before and the three pointer after.

He was locked on at that point.

Lakers losing to the Suns is no surprise.

Please ... games are not won or lost on 1 call. Like I said before, if Kobe shot better than 33% than they might have won. If they shot better than 70 some % from the free throw line they would have one. There are tons of reasons why they lost and none of them include one missed call.

Oh my bad .. that means he is a lock for the next 2 free throws and another 3 pointer after shooting 33% from the field. Shit I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking. :error

Mr. Mojo Risin 04-23-2006 04:28 PM

Kobe had a bad game, which is extremely rare..... Shit happens... I doubt it will happen again next time. Also, the Suns are a better team. They have a lot of good players(which is why I don't think Nash shouldn't be MVP, he has a lot more help than Kobe does). They should have won by 20. Lakers shouldn't be too discouraged since it was a close game. I think they will win the next game in L.A.

Actually he would have above 80 percent chance of making the 2 free throws

If the over under on Kobe for Game 2 is 50 points.

I'll take the over.

Actually it will probably be around 34.5. That is a pretty good bet actually...
