could he sue for this ?

We have just gotten an email from a former customer of ours that didnt play right by us. Shared his username and password.. So we canceled and refunded his membership and blacklisted his creditcard info et al..

so now he wants to rejoin but can not do so and he is telling us he will sue us for not letting him buy a membership ...

so my question here is, can he do that , he being american and we having ties in the US too... ??

btw i told the tool to go gnaw on his own knop just for shits and giggles ;)

I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Tell him to fuck off and sue.

I don't think so, in most stores in the US it is stated that they reserve the right to do business with anyone.

G-Rotica 04-23-2006 10:54 AM

people can sue for any reason, doesn't mean the case has merit, or that they'll win

Spunky 04-23-2006 10:54 AM

Why would he want to waste a couple grand on lawyers fees and the time involved to do it..tell him to find another site and you have the right to blacklist anyone especially if he used fraudulent practices before

That's right. You can sue your neighbor for drinking milk through a straw. It doesn't mean you'll win.

Tom_PM 04-23-2006 10:57 AM

It's probably already in your terms of service if it was written up by a lawyer :) Check with your lawyer I'd say.

Maybe you can settle out of court. He can drink through a straw, if 20% of it shoots out of his nose from laughing :1orglaugh

G-Rotica 04-23-2006 10:59 AM

besides 99.99999999999999999999999% of I'll sue is bullshit.

Turf 04-23-2006 11:02 AM

hehe see whats what i figured too but just wanted to hear a couple of other opinions on this..

will tell him to go toss his salad somewhere else!

LadyMischief 04-23-2006 11:03 AM

The judge would laugh him out of court..

Killswitch - BANNED FOR LIFE 04-23-2006 11:06 AM

hire a mob to take him out

HorseShit 04-23-2006 11:08 AM

tell him to sue, then counter-sue for him breaking the rules and giving others access for free :)

pocketkangaroo 04-23-2006 12:31 PM

The case wouldn't make it in to court. You have the right to refuse service to anyone. I don't even know a lawyer who would take on the case.

I almost wish it was my problem. I would have a great time telling him to go fuck himself.

aico 04-23-2006 01:01 PM

Pray that he WILL sue you. The promotion you will get from that will be priceless.

Michaelious 04-23-2006 03:21 PM

yeah that would work a treat

Violetta 04-23-2006 03:37 PM

ignore the fucker... he don't have a case!

Barefootsies 04-23-2006 04:09 PM

You have the right to refuse service. Not to mention the fact he shared his password and username. Tell him to fuck off.

:disgust
