I feel like ass today:
 

so after a night of drinking at a girlfriends house a buddy and i were heading down to another buddies house for a late night beer with a few other buddies that were there also.

anyway while we were on the way to my buddies house i gave them a call to make sure they were still awake, i got the answering machine, and anyway we decided to head there anyway.

so i get in and there is my buddy saying "hear this" and on the answering machine was me and my other buddy making fun of the whole lot.

wow did i ever feel like an ass, i am 100% not a shit talker in my regular life, i am actually sometimes shy and mostly layed back.

they asked me to leave, which i did, i would have probly felt better today if they would have knocked me out, at least then i would have gotten to go back and make ammends easier.

so now i definatlely have to go down there and apologize and hope for the best, i am totally going to understand if they do not ever want to talk to me again.

side note: this is a group of friends i only see say once a week, not real close friends but i enjoyed hanging out with them, so they will be a little less understanding im sure.

i feel like total ass, probly the most embarrassing moment in my life in the past 5 years, what would you do in my situation?

im not going to even blame it on the alchohol, i am strong believer substance isnt an excuse to act like a dick.

i am going to personally apologize to them all.

there is not much else i can do, i feel like such a dick.

the thing is i like them ALL as friends and really do not dislike them in anyway.

i totally deserve to loose their friendship, and i understand that, i am hoping they will forgive me.

just basically making fun of them,

like my buddy being like "ya hes a dork" and you hear me agreeing.
then saying how my other buddy thinks hes a gangster.
then saying how my other buddy thinks he is a weed expert.

just regular bullshit, the thing is i dont think they know me enough to think i didnt mean it,

they are still owed an aplogogy no matter what the outcome.

my other buddy who i know the best there phoned me later and told me he couldnt even believe it was me on the machine.

because this is probly the first time i have ever said shit behind someones back, and it was just me and a friend drunkingly joking about everyone.

but obviously to them its not very funny. i feel like a dog with its tail between its legs.

Ah, they should be able to forgive that. Besides, everyone needs to hear the truth about how other people see them once in a while. Too bad they had to hear it from you.

I suggest you go by a good bottle of booze for them. Call them and ask if you can swing by to chat. Go there give them the bottle and say "Im an asshole" I'm not going to make excuses for me talking out my ass. There was no truth to my comments. I was just fucking around with some other friends. I'm truly sorry if I upset anyone."

Then give them the bottle and leave. Tell them your sorry again and you hope that they call you to hang out.

Then cross your fingers.

no i have very high self esteem, i just feel like an ass, having yourself played back to you isnt alway a good thing.

these are a more "gangster" group of people (i hate using that term), they are more about respect.

i am actually pretty jolly and layed back, most would be very surprised.

they are also lets say sell stuff on the side for a living, but i have known them before that, and some of the words used on their phones would be real bad if there was a wiretap.

Everyone knows you say things like that, especially after a few drinks to loosen your tougue - but nobody likes to actually hear it. The guy you were with could have been any one of the others that are now pissed off at you, and they would have been talking the same shit.

As for a way out of it - mmmmm - how about a letter of apoligy with an invite to a really expensive resturant - on you. It would work on me.

well now that the day has gone on i really dont feel as bad, i aplogized already last night, and if that isnt good enough for someone, well then fuck them.

there is only so much you can do when asking for forgiveness from someone, i know i would definatly forgive someone for something as stupid as this.
