i heard it sucks, i enjoyed the trailer, i can find something to like about ALMOST anything I see... its all in perspective... is it what your seeing, or the WAY you're looking???

Video game geeks are a tough crowd. They don't want to enjoy a movie, they want the storyline to match the exact one from the game that gives them wet dreams.

I don't remember there being any hype about it. It looked sucky to start with. AN AMERICAN HAUNTING, now that's a horror movie to look forward to. Comes out in about a month.

I never played the game and saw the movie on Friday. I thought it was pretty fucking sick. I am into older horror movies and I am not really into newer flicks like Hostel and Saw.

I saw it yesterday. It had some good imagery and special effects, but the story was poorly written and the plot was very weak. Also, the acting was not very good. Overall, a terrible movie.

I'm not a game player..so I don't know anything about the movie..Went to see it..when it ended, half the audience stood up and "BOOED" the screen..no shit!

Thats funny! I kept making semi loud annoying sounds when characters did stupid things for no apparent reason... so needless to say I was making a lot of those sounds

I dunno what the hell is going on with you people who boo'd at the screen and say this movie was terrible. Mabye we saw two different movies. I thought it was some quality entertainment, and Im usually pretty cynical about movies these days. Wasnt the best movie of the year, but compared to most horror/thrillers that come out these days i thought it held its own.

Really cool and creative visuals, nice cinematography, acting was adequate, thought the story was interesing enough.

Never played the video game though, mabye that has something to do with it?

ever since I saw the trailer I had a bad feeling about this movie. I'm waiting though for When A Stranger Calls.

I'm curious as to how many people who said it sucked have also seen Gans' "Brotherhood of the Wolf" and what they thought of it.

Hostel was better than Silent Hill but it was indeed a mess of a film

And here I loved "Brotherhood..." Looks like I'm in for a good time with SH. SH2 is easily my favourite PS2 game ever.
