Do you think surfers notice the details in pictures
For example, if a photog in Europe shoots a girl for a single girl site to be sold as an American girl, and half the pictures have the European plug in them, to you think that surfers see that and it in turn affects sales?
|
I'd say the majority of surfers wouldn't notice/care.
|
You can lie to a member or surfer if it goes along with their fantasy and that is forgiven even by them. For instance they all know on the internet models age at one month for every year in reality. However lieing to a surfer or member is a fine line. If it does not mold into their fantasy forget it and tell the truth.

Hrmm...here's what I've noticed over the years
From my experience, Paying surfers that become regular re-visitng members tend to have an eagle eye and attention to detail. They will see everything in a photograph. They notice things that I don't notice even though I took the pics. Will a little webmaster lie stop a conversion? Doubtful. But here's something to think about If you have a site you want people to remember then it's best to build a rapport with the surfers so it's not good to lie EVER. But if you're just trying to make a quick conversion and don't mind if the site dies like an old tv show then YES you can get away with little webmaster lies. My experience is the main thing surfers pay when they want to see more of a single model that turns them on... IF they trust you have more content of that model then they'll probably still sign up even if they catch your little lie. Most surfers expect little lies from sites they don't plan on sticking with... But they don't like lies on the sites they permanently visit and bookmark. So if you want to build a little tiny cult of fans...don't ever lie. If you're just trying to convert that day then it won't matter as long as the surfer still believes you have more content in the paying member's area. Belief in more content is all that matters at that point. Does that make sense? Geez I sound like a retard sometimes |
If you're selling it as a personality site and the text reads first person perspective from the girl ie: "Hi! Welcome to my site! I am so glad you stopped by!" then you had better be honest with them. They will want to know everything about her, and if the bio doesn't add up, they will question the validity of the site and likely not renew.
And yes, outlets are fairly obvious clues as are vehicles, appliances, and other common aspects of home life. Why not just write that she's a euro girl? |

I mean, they might see the pictures in a gallery or on the tour and decide that the site is a web of lies and move on. |

I can spot a euro looking girl from a far. Surfer can also sniff them out.
|
surfers have nothing else to do
|
of course the surfer will notice, surfers want everything real!
|
Yes they notice, but don`t care too much
|
Me, as a programmer, believe that a surfer is 10x smarter than your average webmaster.
I can install the latest servers with the latest firewalls, password protection and anti-fraud systems and surfers will find a way in for free. I can put a form up that says "Enter your name here:" and a webmaster won't know what to do. |
Don't underestimate surfers, they are more clever then you think and fucking cautious
If you want sign-ups don't fuck with them is my opinion :) |
I would market her as "An American girl living in Europe"
Problem solved. :D |
I can tell a European girl from an American girl..
a Russian girl from a French girl... a zulu girl from an Ethiopian girl... a Greek girl from an italian girl... (in 95% of the cases) |

Sooner or later people will find where she features on other galleries or sites. I've seen fan clubs that try to find every single pic of a particular girl on the net, regardless of her persona on any given site. They don't care who she's supposed to be, just that she's hot.
Of course if someone joins because he thinks he's communicating with the hottie from a small town Ukraine who doesn't speak a word of english then he may be a little more disappointed... What's the site btw? :) |

1. It being free so they do not have to pay 2. They are hot 3. They fit the niche that gets them off The end. :2 cents: |
as long as their fapping, your doing your job
|
I know that I notice...I don't imagine many people care though

Yeah, I think they notice it. Not just the outlets either....It's not difficult to tell a lot of the European content from the US content. |
Firstly you have to ask yourself, "Are all surfers the same?" Then think it through.
My :2 cents: There are three kinds of surfers. Ones who buy, ones who might buy and ones who will never buy. The ones who buy are not first timers, they've bought in this niche before, they know, understand and love the niche. THEY NOTICE EVERYTHING. The ones who might buy have a good understanding of the niche, they know what they like and if you hit them with the right stuff they will buy. The third ones don't give a damn and are happy to surf the free porn. The bigger question is does the webmaster know the details and buy accordingly? I know I'm an arrogant bum, but hear me out. I learned to shoot in a tougher market them the Internet. The work had to be right and the competition was tough. You make a mistake on a set and you did not sell it, you get it right you make $3,000 for a solo girl set and upwards. Now go around the Net and see what prices are being offered for solo girl sets exclusive. There are shooters boasting they can do 15 sets in a day and for $200 a piece. What attention to detail do you think you get for that price/quantity, or how the model and shooter are feeling after 4 hours? Many webmasters put a lot of emphasis on things they understand and tend to ignore things they do not. They concentrate on the layout, text, speed, quantity, quality of the site and ignore the porn. Because they understand the first things and not the last. Do you really think the surfer looks at anything if the porn turns him off. do you really believe he will click on a link if it says HOTTEST BABE IN THE WORLD WILL FUCK YOUR BRAINS OUT if the picture says "I'm bored, ugly and want to go home"? Get the porn right and see the difference. |

Seeing as a large part of the US population arrived on Ellis Island, or similar, in the 19th and 20th century or from Africa, Asia, South America or the Caribbean what are the differences? Discounting the last category, let's look at the first. Races do not change much in appearance 200 years. Unless they inter marry, which happens in EU or change diet. So point out the differences between a girl from Ireland and a US girl from Boston with the surname Kelly. Or are you saying the difference would be a girl in the US called Smith looking different from a girl called Luciano? |

I ask webmasters on ICQ for their real name, to search in the database for them, they give me a nickname or login. Quote:

Or can you tell the difference between a US Hispanic and a Czech girl? |

I'd say 80% don't notice stuff - 20% pick up on a few details......and perhaps .001% actually take the time to comment on things. |

Who said anything about the girl? I said the content. Sometimes it's the girl but most of the time it's the sets and other odds and ends. Don't play stupid Paul, you know exactly what I mean. Plus, since you and I have been in the biz for awhile, we both know that we can look at a pic and quite often tell you who shot it. Pull up any major teen TGP and look at the thumbs, If you can't name at least 1/3 of the sites, programs, or shooter by just looking at the thumbs and not clicking or mousing over them then you have not been paying very close attention. |
