CCBill Client & Affiliate Reports

CCBill Client & Affiliate Reports

Over the past few weeks, CCBill had released the new client and affiliate report web sites. The webmaster reports are at Webmaster Reports and the partner/affiliate reports are located at Partner/Affiliate Reports

These reports were created to make things more convenient for you, and we would welcome any feedback or comments on how to further improve these reports.

We have already implemented several changes and promise to take ALL suggestions into consideration

Im glad to see additonal features being added that are actually useful. The reports on top sales referring URLs is very useful but some of the features dont quite make the goal line.

#1. It should log declines but not mail me about every single one. I want the signups e-mails, just not all the other crap it mails me about.

#2. Top referring signup URLs is great and would be even better if it told me who my top resellers are too. It can be figured out but not too quickly.

#3. It always agitated me off that it logs all the phony reseller signups. People signup as a reseller just to get free content sometimes. Thats not a big deal but their info clutters up my reseller admin. They arent removed for months.

#4. I should be able to remove a reseller and choose whether to pay them or myself. Im told as of now that if a reseller is removed the money goes into escrow for 6 months and then is paid out normally. That doesnt exactly deter people from abusing my reseller terms of service. I should be able to immediately remove them and choose where the funds go.

#5. The sessions timeout too quickly.

#6. This is more wishful thinking.. but I really do wish the admin could mail me specific stats that I specify in a daily report. It would really help save me time.

#7. The new forms should NOT put the submit button at the bottom of the signup page. The old standard form layout should be available in the new admin - surfers trust it and the Submit button is postioned correctly. In the old form you filled in the fields and as you did so, you had to scroll down. Once you scroll down theres the submit buttom. On the new forms you dont have to scroll down and when the fields are filled in the surfer has to use his feeble brain to realize he needs to scroll down to submit.

Hey, you asked :)

On the upside.. i do like...
#1. Top referring sales urls.
#2. Random user/pass generator
#3. Custom form maker
#4. Integration of the reseller program into the admin.

I think this has been mentioned before, but it would be a useful addition. It would certainly save time.

That might be a possibility, would you also want to get them on your cell phone? ;)

here is my suggestion:
a report for all the cheques that were sent out and for what period of time the money was for.

corvette 05-11-2002 08:25 PM

that it?

This is a small suggestion for the affiliate login.

When you first log in, you can look at your daily transactions for all associated accounts by clicking on "Today's Transactions" on the first page you see.

On that report page, it doesn't tell you what the name of each program is. It only tells account numbers. I suck at remembering which account number matches which account.

Maybe in the Webmaster ID column, you could put the name of the program (or URL) right above the Id Number. You already have two rows of data in the money columns, so there is a blank space above the ID # itself where you could add the name of the program. I know you can see it in other reports, but this would make my life even easier.

If I'm missing something obvious that would make this a bad idea, feel free to tell me so.

Hey CCBill, I already had my coupla words with you tech. When you moved my original main affiliate account you forgot to ad over 60 sites. They told me to call back on Monday to straighten it out until than I am unable to view my stats, clicks etc etc

Thats not a good start!!

However I do like the new setup.. NOW GIVE ME MY SITES BACK

There are many people, myself included, that haven't made the switch completely yet, so don't close this file yet. :winkwink:

If you mail the stats I can set it up so they are on my cell ;-)
Dont worry, I can take it from there . :D

But I also really want the control over reseller payouts. Right now you guys are sending checks to people who havent sold my site in years and one of them is deceased. Im paying a deceased person ( or ccbill ) for those sales

Kimmykim 05-13-2002 11:45 AM

I'd email [email protected] if you need to change up some of your payouts, he can help you.
