Lets talk about hacking.
Every single major adult company's database of webmasters and surfers is available to buy. I was amazed that it is such widespread (yes I am gulluble). I also assumed that it would be just an old list that they kept remaining, but to prove it was real they asked me to sign up to a few programs and they would then provide my details back to me.
Synchronizing with their database so they always have the latest version, the information available on webmasters included everything from icq numbers to banking information. What happened is we blocked a webmaster of ours who was commiting fraud and then used an american collect service to receive these funds. We managed to get this collect service blocked so he couldnt get any money out. To get us to unblock it, he offered all these databases to us! unfuckingbelievable!! We declined obviously, but sure makes u think. Discuss. |

Define "All PROGRAMS" obviosuly it cant be everyone. Is it just people using a specific affilite software? |

well obviously they are easier to hack and def all available. But the person we caught would take requests - no matter the affiliate software being used. |
Very scary
the people you have to worry about are the ones you never hear from; this isn't hacking
ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
thats scary
Wanna list off some examples?
no wonder.
the reason this is happening is because most sponsors are here to get as much money with little to no investment. crappy coders, crappy hosters, crappy admins but noone cares as long as they're able to get the money. |
Chances of being hacked is much bigger if you use thirdparty software and scripts.

sigspot.com

that's pretty shitty
So everyone can get my banking informations? :(
No offense to nats but if everyone is using the same affilate software it can't be a good thing.

lets do some
Wow this post really makes me think twice about promoting a lot of different sponsors
The real question is not that someone can hack it, its what they will do with it. Lets Face it, virtually any site can be hacked/compromised. Maybe they have an inside person, maybe they discovered a flaw, etc. What will they do with the info?

Nice to see that there is something out there that brings us together besides beer, pussy, flashy cars, bravado, and pussy and beer...
good to know
