Popcorn: You decide.
I personally prefer Orville's Movie Butter..... but Pop Secret has a nice flavor to it as well.... although it does burn easily.
|
I like the non microwave varities best.

They only just started selling Orville Redenbacher over here. I bought a couple boxes just because I haven't had it in about a decade.
|
It is not much different just cheaper.
Occassionally I still make it in a pot when I desire a lot of it. Otherwise a small amount in a paper sandwich bag with a teaspoon of oil, staple shut and toss in microwave. |

I would probably end up blowing up my microwave because of the staples. |
Butterkist popcorn... :thumbsup

Worried about the staple, when you bend the bag and need it closed just use a plastic paper clip. |
Orville's instant caramel rocks! so does Pop Secret's Homestyle...mmmm, buutterrr...
|
bump for cheese pop corn (the 25cent bag)
|
I buy the no-name unflavored brand from the Superstore, the 1/2 salt kind. Once popped, I dump it in a big bowl, then I put some butter in a cup and microwave that for a bit to melt it... then I pour it on the popcorn.
Good as any theatre popcorn I've ever had, and at about 1/90th of the price. |
i have been eating orville light butter lately. its really good.
my favorite though is when my mom used to make it in a pot and pour butter all over it. YUM |
Pre-packaged popcorn-machine popcorn, cooked in a pot on the stove with a little sugar added to the oil & flavor mix, chased down with a fat cup of milk.
mmmmmmmmmm. [insert homer drool] |

Best popcorn in the world is at the Verizon Center in DC, made by Joe Brown behind section 104. He has the same equipment he had when he used to make the popcorn behind section 221 at the old Capital Centre. He was written up in a number of hockey publications and has autographs from a number of coaches, broadcasters, etc in his booth.
Great stuff! |

popcorn is weak period

eating a bowl now, great for the munchies
|
movie theater - kettle corn is the best - the blue microwave package
|
the pop corn maker does good as long as I place the right butter..
|
Orville is great.
The bulk organic stuff in the health food store pops great too. |
Popcorn is one of my favorite foods. Of the choices here, I chose Orville, but I much prefer to pop it myself. Microwave popcorn just doesn't cut it here. I eat it in a pinch or if I am in a hurry or something, but I still like the manual labor popping corn myself. lol

I was just sitting here thinking about nuking a bag but I've acquired a stomach ulcer over the last week so I was trying to decide on a scale from 1 to 10, how much fucken pain I'd be in.
Mine is called Act II with Butter. Probably some cheap shit. |
kettle corn for the win
