Doing West Coast Tour - Need Advice
 

Its been a while since ive been to the west coast
i need your opinions on visiting sacramento, fresno and pismo beach as part of my trip
the travel guy wants me to add it and i am highly unsure what to expect
yay! or nah?

Is this trip for pleasure or business?

No idea why a travel guy would recommend going to Fresno as part of a vacation.

You could head up to Lake Tahoe from Sacramento, then drive the back way down through Yosemite on your way to Fresno, or vice versa. The entire coastal area is great around Pismo Beach. Depends on how much time you have and what you are looking for. A lot to see and do on that stretch between Santa Barbara and Monterey/Carmel. San Simeon has Hearst Castle, it's a good wine region for wine tasting, just to the south is Santa Barbara. This whole region is a more laid back, relaxing pace. If you want fun and good nightlife then hit the LA or San Diego areas for that.

If you can give a better indication as to what type of activities you are looking for people can probably point you towards more specific places.

Trax are you doing San Francisco? I have to go out there for business sometime soon and I could coordinate for a night on the town.
