Nice catch for the kid! I used to take my kids when they were really little. It was always more fun helping them than it was catching for me.

LOL , i can see it now , you sit there every day and catch nothing , you kid get a babie fishing pole for her birthday and catches the biggest fish ever in your pond ... i like it :)

Fishing is very relaxing.

reminds me of a fishing trip i went to
there is this place here in melbourne called the warmies or the hotties depending on where you come from
anyway its a hydro electricty plant , when they release the water its nice and warm and the fish love the joint
when the fish are on you have to fight for a spot

anyway one night me and my dad go down ,the joint is full , we have our $150 fishing rods , $200 fishing reels ,all the bait and tackel we need , there for about 2hours or 2 and no bites

this little kid rocks up beside up with his mum he has one of those $10 specials rod reel and tackle , sits down beside me and my dad he casts out , after awhile get gets a fish about 2inches big, he was proud as catching this little fish

mind you the joint is full of blokes trying to catch something , in the hours i was there , this kid was the only person that caught something
