Important - Active X Microsoft --> impact on adult

Are you aware of current ActiveX issue going on with Microsoft ?

I don't have the latest news, but it seems it will become part of updates. Imagine you will have to approve every single click to load an external link in Flash. DISASTROUS !! :Oh crap

Now one of the solutions is to insert a stupid dummy code around the Flash (this solves copyright issues as result of court decision) :
<script src="i_love_software_patents.js">....</script>

But then... with Javascript off .... NO FLASH. Not speaking of videos and such.

Are you aware of all this? This could have a HUGE impact on adult industry so we better get ready.

Well dude I already got the update and so do many others. You have to click to activate any flash including menus and videos. Slight pain in the ass but nothing life threatening for me.

not a big deal to me....

eviltang 04-20-2006 08:23 AM

Yeah, its not that big of a deal. Click twice instead of once.

alsdesign 04-20-2006 08:23 AM

Well, considering it's not "once per session" but "nearly always" ... this can put the conversion of sites with Flash down. People get annoyed by clicking and clicking and clicking..

By above I mean you have to activate Flash components each time you reopen the IE. Even the same ones, approved before.. or is it different now?

No you have to click the stupid control each time you load the page. Will confuse the nubs at first.
