Do webmasters actualy click on banners?
 

I see more and more advertisements on here , do webmasters actually click on them ? Besides the fact of getting a T-shirt or whatever ... I am pretty much oblivious to most ads these days after hours of surfing each day ... how about you guys ?

I've signed up for a few sponsors from here by clicking on the banners..

At least, i know the banners here are relevant.

Sure, clicking on banners supports our industry. Signing up for them via our favorite sites keeps our resources resourceful and our profit's more profitable.

yeh, i always click banners that catch my eye, its good to know what the competition is up to, or a new partner etc. after all, if someone is advertising it then it must be worth advertising or they would pick something else =/

Yea i use them as well, found some good deals as well.
Almost never click on banners on resource sites though, i only use resource sites when i know what im looking for, everything else passes me by.

As for gfy well, i think most have found some great deals in here from banners/sigs you name it :)

banners are like shopping to me..... if I need something specific, I go to the store, get it, and go home..... I don't wander around the fucking mall all day aimlessly like women do....

same with banners.... if I need to go to a specific site, say.... like AllOfEm or something... I'll click their banner to get there just because it's less work than going up and finding the bookmark or typing it in.

Well i think GFY should have a list of all banners on a page.. sometimes i remember a banner i see and want to click on it but can't find it and have to reload like 50 times =)

Yeah like a "Our Advertisers Page" would make for a good selling point to thier advertisers and make it much easier for me since I'm so damned lazy.
