Priceless model-ad response
 

I'm still chuckling here over a response we got to a 'models wanted' ad we'd placed a while back on another forum. Check this out:

How are you?thanxs so much for the mail...well here is my story
I am an unattached model and i got an invite from a modelling company
over here in west africa to come do a modelling shoot for them,they promised
me a lucrative deal and i got a round Trip ticket,on my getting here theycame to
pick me up at the airport and lodged me into an hotel...
Well we took the shoot and in a week it was over
after that i never heard from them they had taken off and they also stole all i have....i have been at
the Hotel stranded since then now the hotel manager has all of my travelling documents promising
not to let me go until i pay my hotel bills...
i tried to involve the police but they said they had no proof,the embassy which i got on
phone said they needed a proof from the police and they police dont have any so i am now in a bad fix...
I lost my parents 4 years agoto a fatal car crash in COLORADO..
so i have been on my own since then,I am the only child and it was about 3 months after me and
my parents came down here from SPAIN..
Where i am from that this happened..So i am in need here

dude, I got the same email...... is this a scam?

I receive those from time to time. Any time they say they are from Nigeria, Albania, Africa, UK, I always have my finger hovering over the delete, or ignore buttons as I read through it.

I get more of them in IM's than e-mail(s).

I get them from time to time as well as unsolicited spam...but this one started as a brief private reply to a (member's only) forum posting I'd made, and then escalated to the spam above through regular email.

Just struck me as rather unusual...

The Nigerian scammers again. 90% of the photos they use are from this site.

Get them all the time, but she does look hot.

Yeah, it's always some super hot girl who is in some remote country and has some sob story. The funniest are when they use images of fairly popular or identifyable pornstars, and are trying to pass off as them.
