Do you care about thread count of sheets?
I had to sleep on a set of 200 tc sheets last night and it was like sleeping on sandpaper. My tender ears were literally chaffed from the pillowcases.:( I need 600 at least.
|
When I first bought my 600 I was amazed. They were great. I need to get some new ones, maybe I'll try better this time. Nice and soft, feels awesome.

I've always had cheap shit. I guess if I bought some nice stuff I would notice the difference, and probably sleep better.

mmmmmmm....threadcount.
I've found that Jersey (t-shirt fabric) sheets are a nice cheap alternative, too. |
Just picked up a set of 1000 tc sheets from Bed Bath & Beyond.
Nice stuff. :thumbsup |
Every post in this thread is from a guy.
Anyway, I just found some 1000 count online for $150. Is that a good buy? |

Depends on the brand and other things. I'm pretty sure that's what I paid too but then I had to add in another set of pillow cases because the sheet set only came with 2. |
I love Egyptian cotton sheets - round the 600-750 tc range but I also love flannel type pillow cases too. I use 3 pillows and 1 always has the flannel cover depending on how I'm feeling.

The natural "Modal" ones are cheaper too but they feel like the primo stuff :thumbsup |
It's so nice to see all you straight boys understand the importance of a high thread count.
Thumbs up to you all! :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup |

Seriously, check out Overstock as well as a few stores on Ebay that sell some really nice stuff. Cant remember off the top off my head but they are the biggest Ebay store for bedding. |
