Affiliate rights and laws?

Is there any regulation or international laws for affiliates that earn a commission promoting a program, not only in adult, but others like casinos, or sell of any kind of services online.

Are there any regulations talking about our rights?

Is it legal to not have a work contract?

I know each country has dif. laws. but what are the most common laws about this?

Or are we just living in a jungle?

Affiliates make money? There is no money being an affiliate.

In the US you are usually considered an independent contractor and get the normal legal status.

If you are an affiliate of a program and live in the US, do you need to have a contract with the sponsor you are promoting??

or are there no rules about this yet?

Here in the US we are not required to have contracts for any type of work. It's optional between the people involved.
