Many of the market forecasts I've researched are indicating $1,000/oz Gold with potential to eventually reach $3,000/oz.

My own view is $1,500/oz.

wife wasnt enjoying my little story though, and thought i was being silly.

the price dropped probably due to many people buying gold...

Technically, gold is worth the same amount it always was. It's the U.S. dollar that has gone down in value, not gold that has gone up in value.

When I was a kid I think in 3rd or 4th grade, I remember everyday during the summer on the 12pm news they would list the gold prices and it was at 215.00! Then my cartoons would come on lol HEMAN BABY!

When I was a kid, gold was fixed ( not on a fluctuation market ) : $ 35.00

I really fucking hope our economy picks up and gold gets back to $200 an ounce. Otherwise we'll be paying $12 for a gallon of gas and we'll see a lot of inflation.
