I remember some of them:

Bruce Lee
The green ninja dude was so buggy

Boulder Dash
Highly addictive and great gameplay

Spy Vs Spy
This was just devilish game, object to set traps for your opponent to fall into. Great strategy and the two sequels were pretty good too.

Forbidden Forest
A great 3D visual gameplay game.

The Way Of The Exploding Fist
Great punch em up two player karate game.

Elite
Back in the day this game was state of the art due to vector graphics and the spaceships named after snakes. Everyone thought this was the coolest thing on the planet because of the thick manual that came with it but I just never understood what the fuck it was about.

Alien
Great atmosphere. The graphics were shit but when you came across the alien youd shit yourself. Another game i could never understand what the fuck i was doing.

F-15 Strike Eagle
Amazing flight simulator... for a long time it was regarded as the best flight sim available on any computer.

Gauntlet
Popular shoot em up if i remember rightly.

Commando
Popular war game which worked well.

Bugaboo
This was a great game.... awesome graphics and some really nice gameplay and scrolling.

Chuckie Egg
Platform game.

Chiller
A game made by Mastertronic (i thought they were gods in the day).

Labyrinth
One of the first ever 3D maze games for the C64.

Little Computer People
This was fucked up.... something about feeding computer people to keep them alive. What kind of fucking game was this?

Skool Daze
This was about kids fucking the school up.

The Duck 04-20-2006 03:46 AM

micker 04-20-2006 07:26 AM

if you guys waxing philosophic are interested, I've got an Atari 1040 ST computer and a Mac from the first manufacturing run (I believe the serial number is <250).

Plus a crate of old games and controllers and paddles, etc. It's gathering dust in the closet.

I was going to wire up a SLIP adapter and get the mac on the network and put it in the guest room as a strange peice of computer nostalgia that house guests could actually use to check their email, I just never got around to it... Now it gathers dust in the closet.

If anyone wants either, let me know. I dont need em.

samsam 04-20-2006 08:16 AM

What were your favourite games people?

Remember the makers: Activision, Mastertronic and some of the best ones like US Gold.

i used to orgasm when i saw that "US Gold" logo on a game box:1orglaugh
