The USPS is scaring the hell out of me
 

I can believe that maybe I won't get mail one day, but two in a row? Not going to happen. When I did not get any mail today, I knew something was up.

I called the USPS and filed a complaint and asked to have my local post office to call me back. They did.

The chick on the phone was nice enough, asking if I had any holds that I forgot about or something. I assured her I did not. She said she would do some checking and call me back.

When she called back she told me there was a susbstitute carrier on my route for the last couple of days (that much I knew), and that she had not delivered the mail because of the dog behind my screen door.

That is all well and good, except I do not own a dog. I have a bird, and a frog, neither of which look much like a dog. I was getting confused. Maybe she heard I was called baddog, and was taking it literally . . . then it dawned on me. My driveway!

My son did it, and it was rather impromptu. The city came by to repair sidewalks and took out part of my driveway in the process. It wasn't like we had time to go out and buy colors to add to the cement.

When we lived at our loft ,the mail carrier there sucked sometimes the mail wasnt there until 7pm. More things were lost on me. It can be a night mare.

Maybe the substitute driver was about 21 and male, and was afraid you'd stalk him if he came to your door. Word is getting around you love young boys.
