But I wish some people would stick things out and stay focused... I'm really glad I never got around to putting up more than a handful of links. Didn't receive an email, just logged in to check and I see the bad news message.

What I wasn't aware of was that she's also got KaylaCam.com run thru kaylakash.com

So.... It's this type of thing that makes me want to just purge everything and NEVER promote any of her sites etc. I mean really.. Which site is supposed to be her "official" site?? The way I see it, if you can't make 1 site about yourself successful, why should anyone promote it? i.e. it's not successful and so it won't convert/sell for the affiliates either. And if your site isn't successful, what makes anyone think they can make multiple sites successful.

Now this may have something more to do with Nats and they don't want the hassle of having to pay affiliates directly etc... But why the site with BadGirlBucks? That's just nuts.

Yes.. I'm ranting/venting because some of these girls could be successful but these types of things prevent that from happening.

Yep... There's this other solo girl program I had signed up to recently... hadn't put too many links and galleries up and then they had a rash of site closings in a couple months... At this point I'm not sure I should bother promoting any of the remaining sites or anything new as it could be all wasted work.

Ok, let me see if I can clear this up a little bit for you guys. Kayla has been trying to alert everyone who is promoting her sites via NATS because that's where her database was being held. She attempted many many times to get in there and make the announcement to no avail, the account seemed to be down so she wasn't able to get into it. There were things going on behind the scenes that weren't doing so well and she needed to make a change. She alerted her partner about this change hoping to have the assistance needed to alert people promoting her that she was making a move, but it wasn't happening.

Kaylacam was never a part of that program, not at any given point in time. KaylaQuinn was a part of it, but that was all, the other sites on that program were not hers and she wasn't a part of those sites other than content. She asked that KaylaQuinn be taken off that program, not to have the whole program to be shut down, so this isn't and shouldn't be reflecting on her, although I can see why it is being looked at as HER ordeal since her name was being used on this whole Program.

Kayla and I have been good friends for a very long time and when the notion came up for her and I to work together, we BOTH jumped at the chance, she was in a bad situation and desperately needed help, and as her friend, I did and have done everything I can to help her out with this situation.

Kayla has teamed up with me at Badgirlbucks.com and is working very closely with me to help put her site back on track the way it is supposed to be. She was with that program in name only, she wasn't being consulted on matters pertaining to the day to day running of the site, OR the program. SHE gave ample notice that she was pulling her site from that program and it was up to the program OWNER to take care of this, she had nothing to do with it.

Kayla is a good girl and she'd never ever do anything to mislead, or otherwise hurt her own reputation or cause issues with those promoting her or the members who have been faithful to her for many years. SHE did everything in HER power to take care of this in a professional manner, but she had no control over the program or anything to do with that. She had HER site, KaylaQuinn.com and that was it, past that, that was her only control over anything to do with it. I personally watched her try and resolve this to the best of her own abilities without anyone having to have an issue with it.

If you have any other questions or comments, I will be more than happy to help you on this matter. I am the Rep for her Site now and she has a brand new site with BadgirlBucks.com and we will be helping her to promote and otherwise maintain her Standards and the integrity of her site/sites. Thiere was no hostile takeover or anything of the kind, this was a simple, she needed help and as her friend and I helped her. It's what friends do for each other. She is far too good of a girl to have to go thru what she was going thru, and risking her dignity and integrity to have to maintain what she was having to put up with.

Kayla isn't shakey at all, she has just had a really bad time trying to run and maintain the site while trying to do shoots and the other day to day running of everything by herself. She approached me many many years ago about helping her and being her Rep, and at that point, I wasn't in a place to help her. I am now, and am doing so. But unless you have tried to BE content, run a site, run a cash program and everything in between, I don't expect anyone to see the work that oes into that. It's very easy to throw content at a site and run it. It's a completely different game when you ARE the content, you are the webmaster and you are the promoter, it is tough to maintain that.

She is going to be fine now, she and I are finally getting to work together and I will be here to help her, her affiliates and anything and everything in between so she can focus on the job SHE needs to do, which is to keep up her content, shoots, cam shows and so forth.

In my opinion, talent should never "run" their sites other than doing the content, emails, diaries and webshows. It's far too much and too specialized to do it right. People seem to think running a website is "easy". But most talent never wants to give up some of the money to hire someone to do it for them. It's a shame really.

So which site is going to be her "official" site? KaylaCam at KalyaKash? The bottom line is that I like Kayla and want to promote her but I only want to do it if it's the official site and I believe my work won't go to waste.

I have known Kayla for a couple of years and she is a stand up person.

I have seen a bunch of solo sites move from program to program. It happens.

Kayla is a good person and a hard worker. Ive talked to her a few times and I get nothing but smiles and help, and great knowledge of the Industry. If you know her than you know...If your a disgruntled affiliate than seek facts if you must and give her a chance....shes been here forever.

I don't know this girl particularly, but it just seems to be a glut of solo girlz. That really shouldn't be solo girls, but should be passed around the Hardcore circuit. Too many people think Lightspeed has a Staples "Easy" button. Believe me he worked his Ballz off to get to where he is. If a girl crossed my path that was beautiful, loyal , smart and dedicated(thats the lottery but thats what you need in a good solo girl) then hell yeah give her a site.

Sorry it took me so long to address this issue here on the boards, I have been on set all day long and...to be honest...had planned on handling this with the affiliates of my 'partners' program directly...unfortunately, his NATS is still down so I cannot do so.

Me being shakey...hmmmm....let's see, since 1998 I have run my own website 100% by myself until I partnered up to have the KaylaCash program run by someone else. KaylaKash (which KaylaCam.com has ALWAYS been pimped out thru) was mine first. MY program came before the one that you are bitching about. When I was approached and asked to partner on this, I was promised less work on MY side...design work and marketing would ALL be handled for me...all I had to do was produce my own content and let everything else be handled. One delay after another, one bad decision after another, one problem after another, the "new" program never made me profits. I do not mean to say that in a cavalier way, I mean in the FOURTEEN MONTHS that this was managed by someone ELSE, I received a TOTAL of $130. Yes, $130. My origianl site, KaylaCam.com, does more than that in a day. Fearful of pissing off affiliates, I was hesitant to pull the program away form the person handling it. NATS was (as it is now) down as often as it was running. Things that I specifically said I did NOT want done were done anyway. At one point, an employee was told to impersonate me on other websites. NOT something I am a fan of at all!

It was asked of me, at first, to put KaylaCam.com into this program. I told this person that, if he proved himself with KaylaQuinn.com, then I would. He did not. I could tell whenever a new dvd of mine was released, as that is when there would be sign ups on that website and they were all generated from 'type-in' traffic.

After over a year, with no results, I gave this person 30 days to pull it together. After almost 60 days, I took KaylaQuinn.com out of that program. I merely said I wanted that url out of the program. Instead, he pulled everything out of it, closed the program and redirected the urls. I had nothing to do with that, as it was done without TELLING me first.

I am sorry if you feel like *I* betrayed you. That was never my intention. I have run my website (originally www.Kayla-Marie.com in case you would like to check up on the validity of this statement) by myself since 1998 and never had an issue of this nature. It was not until I attempted to partner up on this that problems arose.

I am not a flake. I am not a cheat. You will find there are very few people out there that will tell you that I am. I have always been a hard-working chickie who just wants to make a living.

I was under the impression that by partnering up on the "new" affiliate program, I would be able to better concentrate on the film side of my 'career'. Things just did not turn out as I had anticipated.

I could not contact affiliates since NATS was down and that is still, unfortunately the case.

I think, in all fairness, that after 8 years of being online in this biz, after two bouts of cancer and countless stalker incidences that you guys can cut me a little slack for having my FIRST major fuck-up in that time.

If you want to promote my site(s), great! BadGirlBucks is running www.PlanetKayla.com and I am (as always) running www.KaylaCam.com (affiliate program is www.KaylaKash.com as it has always been). If you don't want to promote my websites, then promote someone else. I am not going to grovel here. This was not my fuck-up in the making...just my attempt to clean up someone else's mess!

Oh! As far as which is the OFFICIAL website, www.KaylaCam.com came first, but www.PlanetKayla.com has www.KaylaQuinn.com (my film name) redirected to it...which is the official website?

Hell if I know! Promote both of them and stick with promoting whichever one converts best for your traffic.

I can tell you THIS much, www.BadGirlBucks.com TOTALLY has their shit for more together than I could ever hope to get my shit together...I would promote theirs as they can actually provide you with updated galleries/banners/content etc. my HOPE for the future is to be able to sign everything over to them, let them do what they do best (making you guys money) and let me do what *I* do best (providing content and filming dvd scenes).

I am tired of over-seeing websites...like I said, I have been doing this on my own (forgiving the past 14 months) since 1998. It was deliciously wonderful to be able to go on set, shoot 2 dp's and know that the website was "safe" and being well-managed.

Think of www.PlanetKayla.com as the better of the two sites, hopefully one day soon, BGB will be managing www.KaylaCam.com too!

Tempest, you are so right, she has way too much on her plate and has had for many many years. I honestly don't see how she has done it. I was my own content for a short time and I can tell you, I never worked so hard in my life, trying to run the site and be the content on the small scale I did it on was more than enough for me to get a feel for what these girls who run their own sites go through.

I can tell you this much, we have been extremely excited about working with Kayla on this adventure and are looking forward to making loads of money together for us and for you.

I am the official Rep of BadgirlBucks.com and as a result, I will be personally overseeing all of her updates, site, ad materials and so forth, so that girl can breathe and do what she does best. She wasn't named the Best Amateur of 2003 for nothing, that is something that isn't bestowed on just anyone. She earned it and now it is time for her to catch a break and focus on what she does best and let us focus on what we do best. She is home and has a home for as long as she wants it with us. :)

Kayla: Thanks for you honest response and for filling us in with all the facts. I wasn't intending to come accross as bashing you. We talked briefly on ICQ once and from that I had a feeling that this situation wasn't brought about by you. I was just ranting a little because over the last year, I've had to "fix" a lot of stuff because of ARS, HawgsCash and a few solo girl sites. It gets very frustrating having to scrap work as that's not making me money.

I'm still not sure which site to promote though. I've avoided BadGirlBucks because of the rep I've read about on here but maybe I'll give them a go. But I'd prefer to push the site that YOU are going to be behind 100% (I mean suporting, not necessarily running).

I know you wouldn't screw anyone and you did the right thing!

So, to summarize, you got involved in business with someone who turned out to be an incompetent flake? Happens to the best of us, thanks for clearing things up.

The reaction of people to this is understandable, though. News in this industry moves quickly, and it's almost impossible for people to keep up with everything. When something goes wrong, it reflects badly on all those involved, since most people have no way of knowing what exactly happened, and who were to blame and who weren't.

Tempest, I am the Rep now, and Nina and I have worked very hard over the last few months to clean up alot of things that have been done over the past year or so. We have bridged over some of the broken bridges and fixed most all of the things that were going on before. There has been a complete change in Reps Designers and everything in between...... I won't say everyone loves and respects Badgirlbucks just yet, but we are working very hard to put it where it has a right to be and deserves to be.
