3 - 4 letter domain names
 

The search for short domain names continues. Have you registered a short domain? By short I mean 3-4 letters. The only one I wanted was available as a .ws, but those fuckers have labeled it premium, and want $1000/per annum for premium names. I was pissed. Has anyone else ever had that experience with .ws domains, or is anyone else here just pissed off after trying to find a short domain name and finding them all long gone and unavailable?

When I was 13 years old (6 years ago), I almost registered fs.net for a MUD I made. :) (Fallen Shadows was it's name)

there are a shitload of free 4 letter domains.

what are you paying for 3-4 letter .com domains?

I've got a domain ywex.com, which is Young Women Exposed shortened, which gets 5000 uniques a day funnily enough.

I don't mind getting rid of it if your interested

I got csex.com and would be willing to sell it for a reasonable

Years ago, I was looking to purchase a domain for a site I had made.

I went to internic.net and tried a few out i liked, none were taken....

Then i tried, www.FUCK.com. It wasn't taken. So I got excited, and ordered it, and a few days later I received an e-mail saying, "That is a profane domain, we won't give it out" from internic.

Doh'! Of course it's a real domain now, but still... would have been nice newbie traffic typing that in i figure. Bastards.

I keep telling you it's worthless, so just transfer it to me and I'll pay the yearly fees.:winkwink:
