ya, i have a p4 1800 with 1gb ddr, dvd-rw, and whatever else it has (sony viao)... i don't know how i got anything done before!

I have seen bench tests on the xp1800 and p4 1.8, in which the xp actually clocked faster, but the pentium held up longer, less chance of frying it.

pornjester I hear you.... actually i can have photoshop, 15 internetwindows open, downloading and still be able to hear my mp3's without any probs.....

on my old 900 mhz i had problems doing that so this is a sweet deal.....

Quick question: I plan to get a athlon xp 2100+. Whats' the best mobo for it? I do not plan to have RAID. I need 6 PCI and it would be nice to have 4 DIMM slots.

ya, i always have 10+ windows open, it rocks! :) ...i used to build my own computers, but then i got lazy.... sony puts together a great package for the cost :thumbsup
