Anyone here likes K-1?
every time i watch a fight I get exhausted; it's like me getting hit in the head 5,000 times.
Eurosport had 2 days ago some very brutal k-1 fights. Do you know any cases these athletes suffered serious damages in brain? It's only matter of time for them if you ask me. |
K-1 is awesome, a couple of weeks ago Ernesto Hoost was working out at my gym and I got the chance to practice with him a little bit......that's one powerfull motherfucker

What is K-1?
|
K-1 is a Japanese kick-boxing organization that had NBA-type popularity for a short period about 5 years ago. Its still insanely popular in Japan, but Pride (mixed martial arts, the UFC equavilent) is passing it by since many of their big name HW stars are aging/over-the-hill or left to do MMA - guys like Hunt, Lebanner, Crocop, Sapp (ugh) and Hoost carried K-1 during their heyday. They still have a couple of big names like Remy and they've been putting together some excellent MMA cards under the Hero's moniker. Their lightweight division (K-1 Max) still has great fighters and great fights all the time, but its not the same as watching the heavies.
