Um...videos throught the post? The law is you can't. Hardcore is 100% legal now but only through licensed sex shops.
|
yeh.. UK porn rules used to suck big time, now they just suck =/ i remember some guy selling me TVX when i was 18, i bought it and never saw any penetration or cumshots or anything! anyway, i believe things are different now, but to sell vids u need a dirty sex shop in moss side.

UK license for a sex shop? unreal |
UK license for a sex shop?
_______________________________ Oh c'mon 12... we need them here as well... prob no more than a normal business license that states the intent of the business just like every state requires here to open a storefront. :) Sex shops are more like businesses that sell alcohol or have dancers have to conform to a different set of rules. :winkwink: |

I own/have owed several businesses and I've never needed a "license" of any kind to run them. :) |
12clicks for <s>president</s> god.
:uhoh |
NJ doesn't require business licenses!?!? Well actually they are on a city or county level but just about every city in the country requires them as per a state level law. More of a tax boost I think.
But sex shops, bars and especially girlie bars have heavy license fees. I danced for a long time and heard about that particular one alot. All of our storefront business friends cry about them as well. Guess they are ALL pretty hefty fees nowadays. Maybe NJ doesn't have them since ya have to pay the 'familia' to stay in business. lol :winkwink: |

US laws are better in many respects but you also have too many extremes. At least the regs are morre uniform here even if a little fuzzy still. The ideal for me is the laws the rest of Europe seem to have regarding porn. We'll get there eventually I suppose.... |
You still have to be a member and wait 24 hours to get into a casino?

No more than a few months ago legislation was passed to allow large Vegas style complexes to be built (obviously license permitting). Without tottering off to check the rules the basics are you can just stroll in and gamble, alchohol is now legal at the table and even limits on fruit machines have been lifted. It'll be interesting to see where the first one is built. |
taboo.co.uk sells R18 online.

i ordered the barely legal series off of taboo a long time ago. obviously they are r18. :) there are a few other places selling them too... a search on google uk would find them.
|
You must have missed the links above. It still remains illegal to sell R18 out of anything other than a licensed sex shop including by mail order. They are trying to get around it with the statement above. It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts. Maybe the CPC and Police are finally being sensible enough to not waste public funds going after them.
The original statement stands though - it remains illegal to sell R18 through anything other than a licensed sex shop. |
they also sell hardcore transsexual magazines and magazines featuring anal fisting. personally i don't care what they do and whether it's legal or not. its not like they're selling child porn or animal sex stuff... whether they choose to sell magazines featuring anal fisting and R18 videos via mail order, its their business. :)
if they get prosecuted... well, tough shit! :Graucho |

Fuck the law. Just do business!
Meaning - fuck laws without any common sense like UK vid code. If you can't sell legally from the UK, why not ship from some other EU country. Ship from Holland, they allow even animal crap. |
