How'd you come up with your company name?
 

It seems any even slightly decent company name has the dot com already taken. :/

a flower i like (foxglove) was taken, so changed the spelling to phoxglove. so pretty much random. :)

I was brainstorming with my girlfriend at the time, trying to figure out what 'media' domains were available. Pretty much all of them sucked, but then she said "serial" and I typed in SerialMedia.com and sure enough it was available.

My .com was taken, but that doesn't bother me because I only registered it for tax reasons... Was walking on the seawall in Vancouver in November and it was your typical foggy rainy Vancouver day, and the waves were gray. Graywave.

I thought about the noise a cow makes and how it would sound in my local accent and then spelt it like that

Was sitting with a lawyer in a restaurant and needed a corp name... so named it after the fish we were eating.

We wanted a company name that made similiar misuse of the letter K as my online nick, and with the same medieval theme.

So Kastle Archives just fell into place after tossin' a few ideas around back in the 90s.

We just used the first two letters of our flagship site and added com :thumbsup

i wanted somethign with "micro" in it and since i love software i went with microsoft...

Foxglove is also know as Digitalis so perhaps that may have been a thought also....lovely plant shame its so poisonous to animals :thumbsup

My company .com is taken by the damn dirty Papua New Guineans.

My company started out as a wrestling site design company (still is to a point) so I went with Slam Designs, then later when I decided to get into multimedia and promoting events, it morphed into Slam Entertainment.
