We regret to announce that Megapornbucks is shutting down effective April 16th/2006. Operations are closed and you will no longer be able to access your stats. All servers will be taken down in the weeks following our closure. All affiliates will be paidout in full up to April 15th 2006. Ok I see that they were PPS, and held some sort of trip contest but for the life of me I can not see nor figure out what damn sites they ran. So could someone please let me know so I can search in my database. Thanks.

Must be chargeback problems.
That's the only reason I can think of for taking everything down completely. Even if you're drowning in red ink you can still sell and get "something" for all the sites/servers/programming etc. |
I spoke to Irrum as I was trying to get paid for 7 sales from last year. She stopped working for them a while ago. She did point me in the direction of someone at the company who can hopefully pay me .. we'll see.

Why the fuck do programs close without at least giving affiliates a vague explanation of why they are closing?
"Hello, we are shutting down our program in 2 days. Pull all your links because you wont get credit anymore. Good bye." That just doesnt sit well. |
They didn't notify their affiliates. People found out by trying to log into their site and finding out not only that it was closing in 3 days, but stats were no longer accessible.

I still don't get why they would take all the sites completely offline. They must have gotten into some pretty serious trouble and need to disappear off the planet quickly.
