Well, I've looked into it over the years. Last time I tried, they were like $200k.
Once they were only $50k, then they started to bust out hits, went up to $100k, then by the time I was seriously bidding, it was up to $150k. But I will say, I can probably pull it off since we have lot's of mutual friends and they're down with the whole pimp/Players Ball thing. If they did me a favor, it would still be at least $100k to $125k plus expenses. We would need Pussycash to trade in those 2 Hummers for cash and donate it for a main sponsorship on the Ball. I will call my agent today and see if they are in the ballpark. Usually once it's over $100k with expenses, they're out of my range. And this is normally for the January show since it's the biggest. However, I don't know what the biggest show will be for the next year. Phoenix is getting huge while Internet has a few issues with the January show. They changed dates, webmasters are making choices on whether to go or not, the smaller shows aren't worth spending that kind of money since only a few hundred or so webmasters attend those. Maybe I can book Big Boi to do a mixtape set without Andre, that would be in my price range. If he did his Outkast raps over the beats, it would be well worth it. Can I get a Pimp Pimp Hooray? Now, if my GFY peeps are seriously interested in this, find me some serious main sponsors (at least $20k each to $50k each) and I can secure it right now. OK, called my agent, Andre isn't touring with Big Boi, so Big Boi does a solo show, plays all Outkast tunes but Hey Now.
I can get Big Boy for around $70k plus expenses, it would basically be the closest thing to get Outkast since Andre won't do it. But I heard from Ice Cubes camp today, he mentioned to my agent that he's heard of my Players Ball from Snoop and would LOVE to do it. He'd be about the same price as Big Boi. To be honest, I'd rather Ice Cube! So, my peoples are talking with his peoples about meeting with DMizzle to smoke some medicinizzle and lock him in for January, or Vegas (XBiz). |
