is chameleon submitter worth it?

I am thinking about giving it a try, thanks a lot.

dissipate 04-16-2006 04:06 PM

I like dreamsubmitter more myself.

Dirty F 04-16-2006 04:07 PM

Yes its very worth the money.

Lots of people see Chameleon as a newb submit tool. It is, but it's also pretty flexible too. It's really easy to build and maintain your OWN database as well as use the one provided.

DreamSubmitter is great, but the learning curve is pretty steep. In the time it took to do the walkthru with Nifield I could have submitted a few galleries with Chameleon.

Pick up the Partner Account Requester to make the most of Chameleon. Obtaining partner accounts, both paid and free, is key to submitting these days.

Dirty F 04-16-2006 04:14 PM

Most important is your dbase and partner accounts. Then your galleries. Then the submitter.

Aquarius 04-16-2006 04:16 PM

how should I start with it? I mean, just submit to the whole DB they provide and weed out those not working later on?

alan-l 04-16-2006 04:16 PM

yes if you know how to use it. Same applies for all submitting tools. And when I say "you know how to use it" I don't mean "hit the submit button" :winkwink:

The most important tool when submitting galleries is your own head and COMMON SENSE, it's more important than the submtting tool. If you have no common sense you can use the best submit tool and still fail.

For example COMMON SENSE would tell you the answer to this question
"how should I start with it? I mean, just submit to the whole DB they provide and weed out those not working later on?", that the answer lies in the question itself!

Oviously as in anything in life you find out what works or not by trying and using process of elimination... But the need to question that by itself implies lack of common sense, but at least you answered your own question by asking it so that means you at least have SOME common sense.

I make $500k+/yr with chameleon submitter.

Chameleon is a great tool.

Customer support has always been good to me.

Of course if you ever need someone to take over doing the submissions for you, hit me up :thumbsup

I agree with Franck. personally I just like dreamsubmitter because its more customizeable and the support is great. Once i have everything set up how I like i actually submit faster with it than chameleon

I love the world

Chameleon is definatly worth it. Easy to use, good support, and affordable. I like it alot. Give it a shot. It's only $24.95 a month, right? If you don't like it after the first month cancel.

da man 04-17-2006 05:00 AM

now you made me confused Sparks, but as I checked back at http://www.chameleonsubmitter.com, its only 19.95/ month
:-)
thats a deal!

djroof 04-17-2006 05:25 AM

try it man for 1st steps ;)

tornell 04-17-2006 01:14 PM

I have chameleon submitter and chameleon partner account requester .... it's great machine for the money :)

mattz 04-17-2006 01:16 PM

I don't like cs. Dreamsubmitter is a lot more useful if you take the time and learn how to use it. Cs is far easier to use but doesnt have close to the amount of features that ds has.

Malt Lick Her 04-17-2006 01:19 PM

I like advanced submitter myself.

Lol, sorry, man. I wasn't sure, but didn't have time to check right then.

It's much more important that you have a good Database, one that you constantly maintain yourself. If you start out with the ones at p://updates.advancedsubmitter.com/ you could add your own Partner Accounts, and add your own Paid Accounts.
I've listed ~800 Sites that accept Partners, and ~200 that sell gallery spots in these Databases, so they're also a good resource to request free partner Accounts, or to buy some.

If you want to have more Partner Accounts take a look at PartnerRequester.com, and if you want to buy more, take a look at submitpasses.com

You can also read a bit through the Tutorial I've recently written about gallery submitting (http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=573984) or contact me on ICQ 344688791 :)
