Don't do it. Really. I'm just barely kicking the habit. I had to delete my 60 rogue with full nightslayer and a couple of pieces of bloodfang. I could either work or play WoW, not both.

It's an awesome game. Just so you DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, here's some tips I learned firsthand:

1) Levelling from 1 to 10 is easy--just take as many quests as you can find.

2) If you feel you're going to get owned, don't hesitate to run. It's easier to come back, kill and get xp when you don't have to walk long distances because you died.

3) Join as many quest groups as you can. The more the better.

4) Levelling is fastest if you combine INSTANCES and questing. Don't waste time grinding unless the mobs you hit have a high chance of dropping magic items or other items you can sell at the Auction house (AH).

5) Try to do at least 2 instances a day. This really turbocharges your leveling.

6) ENJOY!

bah.. you can play it for a long time without it negatively affecting your life - we've been playing it in our house since the beta (Sept/Oct 2004) and it hasn't affected us in a negative way at all. It's all about moderation I guess.:2 cents:

i just recently stopped playing a lvl 60 warlock with full tier1 epic set and a few tier 2's.

its a fun game but its not worth the time i was putting into it.

enjoy it! if you lack will power, this was a bad move. otherwise you'll be fine. i play eq2 in my free time, and have no problem getting my work done first.

Also, I have over 100 accounts that are 60+ for sale. Most with at LEAST blues, some with purples, a handful with FULL epic sets.

Er, I should mention .. the accounts for sale are NOT on a private server, lol .. they're on the public servers.
