Fuck Trillian
 

that's it....i've fucking had it with trillian. Everytime I reboot, the buddy list and all the names in their groups get dumped into buddies. When I've got more than 3 chat windows open, messages make my computer stall for a sec.

not to mention the random crashes, people seeing me as "offline" when I'm not etc etc etc etc etc

I also have major problems since i started using trillian. Peoples nicks in the list gets scrambled i cant read some names, People say tehy sent me a reply but i never get anything.

Trillian is a resource hogger. I'm not even going to touch it :O

it uses alot of resources sure.. But not much more or maybe less then if you have AIM, ICQ, MSN, yahoo and IRC all open at the same time like I do everyday... And its alot easier to use then having all those diff programs open at once. :2 cents:

ya, i had bad luck with trillian too. eventually switched to miranda & i like it way better. i miss some things about trillian, but overall i like miranda

For some reason everytime I start it it loads about 50 contacts then disconnects all of them and reconnects them all. It ok then but next time I exit and restart it does it again. Anyone know why?

what i hate about trillian is when i leave it on overnight, and leave windows open so i remember to follow up on things, the windows close many times, randomly and i forget to follow up on things.... FUCKING SHEISSE

ive had every one of these problems.. but im too lazy to open 4 programs before I open illustrator.. :|

yeah trilliam does'nt work well with Windows 95 :1orglaugh

Seen it before when it's showing offline when it should be online, log into the icq client and check your status, it might be invisable there.
Change it to ONLINE and then log out.

Log back in using trillian and see if that now starts to show you online.

I also found when i started to have to many live contacts then so many would get orphaned or windows start to close on there own.

Doing a contact clean up using ICQ client can help with that.
