What resolution do you build for?
 

I noticed that CNN have decided to go with a wider format and dont bother making allowances for 800x600 users.


Im still not sure - I wonder what it was cost in terms of lost traffic and whether the better looking site with more info would make up for it?

Opinions please!

i still use the old fashion style of 800x600

I don't normally go much larger than 720 to 740px wide. (Allows room for an IM to be open and docked)
