I use my mobile phone all the time. But i'm phoning not too much...
been using it for ages
I use it. Too bad ICQ seems to still be the standard for webmasters.
because it's not secure - if a company can't make their encryption public - don't trust it. Try Gizmo. www.gizmoproject.com

I am too lazy for that!

I use my cell phone I have no use for Skype at this time.
Skype is nice when you don't have many people around you. IMO, ICQ and MSN are great options in the office. 20 people talking @ skype at the same time can be hectic! :)

Skype has been saving us 10's of 1000's every month on phone costs.
We communicate daily between Europe and US. Also if you have family or friends around the world that you want to call (even if they have no skype), most countries are only about .02 cents per minute. |

I use it only to speak with a couple of people.
Otherwise I wouldn't do anything else all day. |
too many things running on my comp, why add another....
Vonage... For $25 a month I get everything I need, I can call all other Vonage users for free and everyone in North America, and I get to use a phone to do it.

I have Skype...want to have phone sex????
the best thing about skype...
Put skype on your mobile device (pocket pc).. now your handheld with an internet connection can become a telephone. You use the internet to access skype on your mobile device then use skype to make your long distance calls. If your pocket PC has no phone, well now it does! :2 cents: |

Have you ever gone to Mexico or Canada and made a call back from your Cell phone? Be ready for the bill :helpme |

Handy for tech support and be able to do real work at the same time. |

but the depends on how much you pay for internet access from you pocket pc |
No thanks... speaking means working stops. icq and msn means I can answer while working and talking to others at the same time.
There are still people that don`t use SKYPE???
when it comes to online communication, i rather type than talk.
Well I know a lot of expats and international students use it to speak with friends and family back home from this region.
I think it is great calling friends in Australia, US and NZ for free. There are some offices that use it, but more often they opt for some VoIP deal. |
Haven't used it as I was concerned how it would effect my computer. Now that so many swear by it, I'm downloading now.
just another memory-sucking app, no thx... I rather stick to the web's standard ICQ
I use SkypeOut whenever I need to call the USA or Canada, but as for doing computer to computer, it's much faster and more efficient for me to just chat which means ICQ or MSN.
why is does ICQ counter Skype? one is for talking and one is for chating

I've used it before and I think I will download it again.
i use it 24/7 ........ i live in Australia so to talk to someone in the USA for free is GOLD
It's cool if you have have some privacy. Otherwise your office turns into some kind of fucking call center
my cell phone works fine for me
I've been using it a year or so now. Mainly to talk to some friends overseas in Europe. That's about it. They do not use some of the alternatives (yahoo, icq, etc).
:2 cents: |
i use it when i need to be secret squirrel and want a secure connection.
nehtw dna won yreve em
What a pain. You can only call other Skype users for free. If you want to call landlines or mobil phones you have to buy credits. $10 for 120 mintues. I'd rather just spend on extra $30 a month on my cell and get the next biggest plan. I'll get 500+ minutes for $30.
