I need massive amounts of p2p traffic (sig hidden)

Who here can send me massive volume of p2p traffic?

I'll give you a video and pay you a flat rate of 4 cents for every person who downloads it from a p2p network..

No bullshit, no spyware or adware.. just a video promoting our sites.

You MUST be able to generate a MINIMUM of 10000 video plays per day via p2p networks.

[email protected] if you have the skillz that pay the billz :)

fris 04-15-2006 08:23 AM

hit up drinking hard, he has the goods

Antonio 04-15-2006 08:25 AM

DrinkinHard will be here in 45 seconds ;)

RAM 04-15-2006 08:29 AM

Its impossible to keep track of number of DL in a P2P network, what you can count is the page visit (Person opens a video and your page opens up).

Screaming 04-15-2006 08:57 AM

MetaMan 04-15-2006 09:06 AM

how do you plan on tracking the downloads? i have access to a very large p2p network myself.

elitetec 04-15-2006 09:22 AM

peer 2 peer is great, but hard to find

spacekadet 04-15-2006 09:33 AM

I generate way more than 10k daily downloads and I can track raw downloads as well as video plays. Email sent advertiser at hush.com

DH must be sleeping in.

got a couple emails. i should clarify we're not paying for a download unless the person actually opens the movie file... they dont have to watch the video, we'll present them with some licensing options.

DRM won't track downloads - it will track video plays but limit the types of computers/OS that will support the video.

I would love to get into this P2P business!

Video views. This has nothing to do with adware of any kind.

I'll e-mail all of you back monday. Thanks!

P2P is like SEO, if you are good then you will do it for your self.

No matter how good you are you'd be a fool to turn down 4c per raw download of a video (which this thread originally claimed..)

jay23 04-15-2006 05:31 PM

Its 4c per view, download will never track. People can download from a users box and not open the file for example.

4c per view is high, but also you have to look at the keywords and also the file size (as mostly its going to be your server)

Jay

spacekadet 04-15-2006 05:35 PM

I have no problem tracking file downloads, from my box or others.

4c per view of a (questionably) licensed wmv file (which could be doing a pop or an install) would be well below industry averages.

Quick Buck 04-15-2006 05:45 PM

i dont know why you'd say "questionably".

we were very clear that we're not doing any kind of installs.

I'm not paying for "downloads", i'm paying for people who actually open the video as tracked by windows drm.

I have been doing DRM since day 1, their is no way you can track a download that happens from a 3rd party box until the user opens the file.

p2p traffic meaning bittorent and warezp2p?

I guess you're missing out then. It's not possible on all networks but it is on others.

Just to clarify - 4c per view video if I was handling the DRM to ensure cleanliness would be a fair rate.

I dont think you want to educate some one that competes with you, but I stand by what i said. P2P as a system its impossbile to track every downlaod. May be their is some custom P2P network I dont know but i follow the top and none of them allow you to do that, and they make up 95% of P2P

BitTorrant
eDonkey2K
FastTrack
Gnutella
Overnet
Filetopia

Good luck with your venture

OK name one person that downloads videos just for the fuck of it and doesn't play it? :1orglaugh

Quick Buck 04-15-2006 08:02 PM

with drm'd videos you'd sometimes be suprised because people try to open a drm'd video with a 3rd party player.

Someone who doesn't have windows xp sp2 and media player 10 than can't support your DRM'ed videos - Oh, thats 30% of the market.

then unknown poster happens to be the CTO of one of the biggest VOD and DRM firms in adult, with (I guess) a tad bit knowledge about P2P

then noob says he has a superior technology to spice the plot :1orglaugh

jay23 04-16-2006 08:51 PM

Did I get owned. What I was tying to point out was that its no point arguing with some one who says "it can be done, but does not tell how it can be done". So in theroy it cant not be done :-)

Jay

jay23 04-16-2006 08:55 PM

On the P2P side of things I have been working with main stream for all most 4 years. Its no point gong after adult because i need to deal with all kind of crap (this post is a good example). I even wrote about DRM and P2P for XBiz all most 3 years ago. http://www.xbiz.com/article_piece.ph...g=obje ctcube

I get pissed when some one says some thing can be done when clearly it cant be done.

I love dealing with mainstream companies. So much easier to get respect and much more professional. Hey, you mentioned on the other board you'll be in town for WA East, let me know if you are, would like to meet you about some PPC stuff.

Sure. I also want to talk to you about another PPC project. This week I took over all the technolgoy operation for one of the largest porn portal on the net (I think you know who I am talking about since you posted on another board about the email offer :-) ). Can you drop me email at jay at objectcube.com and i can give you some details

I want to work with another guy who went to the same school as mine !!

Jay

WiredGuy 04-16-2006 09:18 PM

Email sent.

spacekadet 04-16-2006 09:24 PM

I was never questioning Jay's knowledge of DRM, but there is still more to learn re P2P networks. Perhaps I have more experience with some networks will you have more with others. If you are genuinely interested I will reiterate my openness to email discussions - I'm sure there's much for me to learn as well. I won't however publish unknown P2P facts on a public board and create even more competition in this field.
